@@PlayrayGamer My older videos uses to have just steam link to the steam page. They don't get any views. Because people can't find my videos in the youtube search results. so catch 22. If I had a larger subscribe base then it won't matter.

At 1:10 you call out on of the most "defense" features of the game, the tower target priorities but then I watched 2.5 more hours to see you never take advantage of the mechanic. I was expecting the acorn launchers by the base to be set to lowest health, the catapults to be set to highest armor and a smattering of "fastest target" and max health targets through out your defense chain. If you revisit, either after launch or again while in demo, then I hope to see you optimize your defense strategy a bit more. Otherwise I enjoyed the play through.

The pattern I found works well is further damage node, 3 catapults with 2 that are closest to the enemy tower set to furthest away from your tower and one set to highest armor/health. Throw in a ballista set to highest armor on the other damage node. Then where the paths converge again set a catapult with the furthest range just touching the converge point and set that one to furthest away. Throw in 2-4 acorn towers along the path with the most path coverage to lowest health. Then on the closer damage node throw on 2 catapults set to furthest away and 2 ballistas set to highest armor. Around this area throw in another ballista set to highest armor with the highest path coverage. Then further back place down two crystals set to highest health/armor and another ballista. Then fill the rest with acorn towers with the best coverage on alternating fastest speed and lowest health. Spike towers ONLY on the U turns right outside of your tower. Remember to move the two acorn towers once you start with as more than half their range is useless being inside your tower once you max out on towers. Logic for this is all because of your limited tower count. Your entire goal is to use AOE (catapult is the only option) to wreck the armor and kill off all the small minions leaving only crabs without armor, ogres and bugs. The handful of acorns after the catapults is to pick off the low health minions that survived the AOE so your ballista shots aren't wasted on a low health minion while the ogre walks into range while it's reloading. Then it's just about dealing with the fast moving bugs (acorn towers set to fastest movers) and trying to pound down the multitude of crabs and ogres which is the crystal towers set to lock on and the smattering of acorn towers. The spike towers simply aren't worth it in the end as yes, they do AOE damage but only damage the cells adjacent BUT they're useless against armor and flying so the AOE is kind of useless since it's going to be the big mobs who make it to the tower, the only benefit to them being the damage boost against only health. So they have to be saved for just right outside your tower if used at all. The game limiter in the end becomes the light. The beacon and light upgrades are the most important to 'beat' the demo followed by catapults and their speed upgrade along with tower count and acorn tower damage.

I've seen like 30 differents youtuber playing this game and nobody can pass day 2-3... what a game... you play 3 hours then you dont want to play again lol

@@Simul4tion i won though. Once you beat the game. Not much else there since it's a demo. Because it loops over and over the same thing that I know how to do already If they're stuck on day 2-3. Tell them to get good. Lol

I got to day six and won before I got overwhelmed luckily. I could have won on day 4 or 5 but stalled to see if I could get more bonus points. it took many runs though to win. my chapter jump didn't include those other multiple fail runs. but if you watch the entire 3 hours+. it was challenging because of finding the light crystals to win.

I think you would have seen me do 5-6 hours if I didn't get lucky with finding those 3 light crystals to win. unlock more meta progression technology to make runs easier.
