Good little brake in ride! I'm on my first brand new motor. (Wild Cat 80) I'm trying to run 2 to 3ish tanks at 2/3 max speed with non synthetic. oil at 36 rato. After that, I will go to synthetic oil 🛢 at a rato of 40:1. What oil do you run, boss?

@Grendel's Garage I run the same ratios that you just mentioned I forgot to add that info in the video so thanks for the reminder lol I run Royal Purple HP 2 stroke full synthetic at 40:1 after break in for excellent wear protection.For this particular break in I'm using Lucas semi synthetic at 32:1 cause it's what I had on the shelf to mix up lol I'll switch to 40:1 after the second tank of fuel. Thanks for the input bro✌️

How many miles do you recommend for break in time
@glenssmallenginecreations
Жыл бұрын
@John Baker I normally run 3 tanks of gas through it or roughly 150 miles.during break in I like to mix the gas to 36:1non synthetic oil then after the first 3 tanks I'll switch to fully synthetic 40:1
