Amazon video! I also admire how you can always keep your resources low (unless you want to age up), I always acumulate too much. A video on macroing this would be amazing. Congrats!

This is awesome! Mongols are the perfect civ to explain tactics and strategies, so adaptable. I would love to se more videos of you playing with them, decision making is critical.

Nice, I didn't know you could play mongols so defensively, definitely going to try this out!

Mongol are actually a defensive civ, they raid a lot just for distraction and let their opponent stay at base, which is a form of defense. Their goal is to go castle asap

I’ve been waiting to see you play some mongols. I hit diamond with them this season and then tumbled back down to plat 1. Great timing for the video. 👍

So you went 2TC (Boom) because early in the game he was playing defensive by using wood ressources (Turtle), is that correct ? Also other question : is it better for mongol to build additional Markets instead of TCs ? Thanks for your video and quality content

Idk wood usually means army, wood and stone means 2tc or tower

Great guide! Love the explanations you give I would also love to see a guide on how to seige enemy bases a bit better. Like I can wipe my opponents army, but then somehow get nothing off of that tempo. I'm not sure what buildings or units to go attack for maximum value. Eventually my army just gets poked to death by arrows. I'm sure it's civ dependent but just any general idea would be really nice.

Hey Valdemar, BboySlug here. I'm really into civs that are adaptable like Mongols, and I tend to prefer late game. What other civs are similarly adaptable?

Abbasid and Chinese, both focused on outbooming, both need to adapt to the enemy to survive. Chinese has the Imperial Official that can boost the production building it supervises, and is all about surviving until lategame, where it's better than pretty much every other civ. Abbasid can even build siege on the field like Mongols, without an upgrade.

The decision making seemed sane, but the gameplay seemed really boring. Definitely not how I'd play. Luckily I'm fairly low level and I'm not forced into these kind of play styles.

There is no right and wrong. Playing freely on your way is fun, on laddering you have other type of game, and the focus is not only stay chill and have fun, improving, correct trimmings, and going up is the fun. While playing is more focus then fin based
