Both towns are in the Donetsk region in the Eastern part of Ukraine and Russian speaking region. Kyev is the capital. We all stayed there in an apartment when papers were processed before leavi g for Poland to finish the adoption proceeding. u couldn't talk at all or sit or stand u were in really bad shape..we just decided to save u even though it was a very risky adoption

Warning: the following comment may be considered offensive to some people, but I assure you that is not its intent but more of a thought on the matter. I feel like people with disabilities like CP that effect speech is the biggest deal breakers for getting a job in the workforce. Communication is so important, and while many companies or agencies could easily accommodate a physical disability, accommodating a physical disability AND a speech disability is much more difficult to convince a company that you would be a good hire. It’s not fair, but it’s the harsh truth. One thing one of my best friends with CP has done to increase body and speech control, is to use wheelchair harnesses and straps. He has a chest harness, seat belt, foot straps, optional knee blockers, optional hand straps (this one was more helpful than he thought it was going to be!) and optional forehead strap. The more strapped in he was, the more control he ended up having for his body and speech.

I do agree with you, but unfortunately with my CP, the one time I did that I pulled a lot of muscles. But I do see where you are coming from. And yes, I'm aware of why that's the reason I don't get hired. Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it! P.S. I love your disclaimer :)

Hello! For my day-to-day routine, I do have aides who help me with whatever physical activity, getting ready, cooking, and cleaning. I make my own appointments, interviews q and whatever I want to do. I pay my own bills and don't need any reminders. I have spasms but I just deal with it! I am not a fan of Baclofen. I took it when I was younger and it really affected my mood!
