The way you talk is so soothing, like I normally skip videos like this cause I get a bit bored on long answers but you speak to nicely, you should make a mum podcast 😉

I have absolutely no interest in having children and I am still so dedicated and will always watch all of your videos. I find it so comforting to watch people evolve and work in a trial and error process where it’s okay to not get it right all the time. With Syd, I love how realistic she is and how honest she is with us and I think anyone can relate to these videos whether it’s insightful to learn more about pregnancy/ mothering or how people have totally different journeys. I’d love to see more of these where the answers change or her approaches change. ❤

I'm currently 35+6 weeks pregnant and I love watching your videos. I am 36 and have got PCOS. I've been with my partner for over 10 years. We never used protection in those years and didn't try to get pregnant but it just happened so we call her our princess warrior 😍 even now I'm still in shock that we're actually having a baby together ❤️

Loving your motherhood content! I totally agree with you it gets harder as they get older, my little boy is 20 months and looking back the newborn days were so easy 😂 that being said I definitely love each stage more and more the older he gets! You’ve got it all to look forward to ❤️ xx

I’ve been following you since day one of you on KZitem, watched you grow and through your TTC. We’ve both had babies in the last year and we’ve spoken a few times over Insta DM, I love watching you and feeling like we have genuine things in common. Please keep showing your life, it makes me feel less alone 🤣

You definitely can control family members posting her. I have a 6 year old and 2 year old their faces have never been posted by anyone. But everyone has their own opinions, you do what’s best for your family.

I found that around 3-4 months my daughter really wanted to be entertained and just but now at 5/6 months she can entertain herself with her toys in short bursts which helps a lot to get stuff done! X

Parents choice about sharing baby i love watching or looking at peoples babies or children but I have to admit when it comes to sharing our future children online and family’s posting. I personally will be asking mine and my husband family not to post my baby/child online or if they do blur there faces out. Too many weirdos online. So i think you have the right to ask family to do that!

The sharing kids online thing is interesting. I was all for it with mine until AI has become so advanced, and now I don’t really share my daughters face. I guarantee if you scroll through the people who view your IG stories you’ll see all sorts of weird accounts, I do and I have way less followers. But there’s no right or wrong choice at all, every parent does what they think is best ❤

This exactly, I know it must be difficult for content creators who are filming etc all the time to avoid getting their kids in but idk the huge followings makes it feel really unsafe, I totally agreed with 'it's the parents choice' originally even though we've always said we wouldn't post our kids faces online but since AI developments it's honestly too scary and it doesn't feel like 100% our choice anymore because it's their face that could be taken with minimal effort and put on inappropriate images and videos, their identy stolen, their job opportunities altered in the future so it's difficult!

@@Cath189 I agree, ultimately it is the parents choice but I think parents need to not be so naive about this AI issue because it’s actually very common. And they need to be aware of the consequences it could have. Unfortunately a lot of influencers (not Syd!) cash out on their kids too, which I think is awful. Money seems to be more important to them (again, not Syd!) x

Currently 39 weeks pregnant and really scared of sharing our baby online. I want my family and friends to see photos when she's here but the things I have seen about AI generated images of children has actually given me nightmares. I work with children so understand safeguarding but the AI stuff just takes it to a whole other level. It's the same with our baby monitor. We're so worried about having an open circuit one incase of hackers etc. Everything is scary when you're trying to protect a child but am I over thinking it all? I think you're doing a fantastic thing addressing these questions and making your own informed decisions for your baby ❤

Bet she didn’t have colic I bet she had a tightness of the muscles and couldn’t relax because a lot of baby’s require a massage especially as the skull over laps during the journey thru the birth canal most baby’s have a headache or tight muscles or tense neck shoulder or hip area mums should take baby’s for baby massage or to be adjusted or just grab some oil and rub your babies down gentle from head to toe

You’re the first influencer I’ve seen who hasn’t promoted 2 under 2 or the 2 year age gap! And mentioned a larger age gap It’s a nice age gap I imagine but I’ve never seen anyone online being completely transparent on how difficult and overwhelming it can be 🤍
