Hi Angela:). You did an excellent job! When I first got my sewing machine I just had it on a table and I learned how to sew on machines that were flush to the sewing cabinet-so I bought a cabinet-wish I had seen this then though I wouldn’t have known how to make the wood piece you had. When my newish couch gets old I’m going to try to reupholster it! I need an electric staple gun-going to tell my son that’s what I’d like for my birthday 👍😊🤗♥️🙏 Great lesson👍👍

Oh how I wish you could teach me to sew. I have been trying to learn from a mail in course for years. I procrastinate on it because it reads like a freaking encyclopedia. Puts me to sleep. It's for dressmaking and sewing. Sigh I just gotta get it done. ❤

I love to recover things. I just put vinyl on my table so my quilts would slide easier. I need to make a small one like this. Mine this made up for the whole 3’ x 5’ table 😳 not movable at all

I love watching you and your content. So please take this as just helpful advice. I’ve heard you a couple of times use a term for people haggling with you. It’s a term is offensive to Jewish people, and is a racist term. I understand that it’s just something you grow up hearing and never think of it what it really means. I have considered whether to say anything, but I really don’t want you to get backlash or get in KZitem jail or something!! Just take it into consideration. Thank you.❤❤

I didn’t even realize what I said till I watched myself later. I just think of it as a word that has two meanings. Lots of words in the English language have two or three meanings. When I say it I don’t think of a Jewish person at all. I am thinking of the act of talking a price down. I have lots of Jewish friends and even relatives. I mean nothing against a Jewish person. Christ was Jewish. I will try to change my word. I also am not aloud to say retarded, my grand children told me that. Or the m word for Down’s syndrome. It’s a different world than when we learned the language. Especially to us who have grown up in small towns. Isolated and not very many different cultures. I will try to do better and not say bad words. At least I don’t swear it take the lord’s name in vain.

@@materialmom-hz3wj I understand....I did it before I knew. I grew up in small towns and was never exposed to much or any diversity until I was a young adult working in Minneapolis and a dear co-worker educated me after I used it. He was Jewish...thank goodness he was so kind and understanding of my lack of knowledge in using that word. Life is a path...God bless you.
