Relaxing Saturday morning with my coffee - nice start to the weekend ❤ I love the Fendi sandals too, but with my narrow feet those types of styles don’t look the best on me (or in some cases don’t fit at all …)… admiring others from afar 😊 and yes we like a good cull in Australia 😂

Loved your willingness to be open about your experiences Lisa. I’m in Europe seeing my son right now coincidentally and I miss him. Part of my reason to visit him again after being here in December (aside from loving travel) is our sweet kitty died after 20 years. It’s been tough. I understand getting choked up. When it comes to our kids, nothing can compete. I loved what you said about bittersweet regarding parts of your move and I relate to that too. For me, selling the family home after 18 years there and moving into a wonderful 1920s Tudor in a different neighborhood was huge. Yep I still miss certain things about our old house. But on a fun note, the joy of a new bag or new perfume can do wonders!! I intend to indulge a little while I’m here! Xx. Kim.

Kim I’m so happy you’re visiting your son again (and bonus that you get to travel to Europe) and so sorry to hear about your kitty. Pet loss can be so hard, especially after such a long life together. Can’t wait to hear what beautiful things you pickup on your trip! Enjoy!!🥰

You have to be careful about crime whether carrying luxury or not. Some people dont think about it unless something happens to them. Then its not just a matter of property being stolen from you, its a strong feeling of being violated that you remember for the rest of your life. I still do carry my bags. But I'm very self aware. I dont walk around obliviously.

First of all, love your screen name! And hopefully that came across when I spoke about it. I agree that it’s more about how you present yourself and being aware of your surroundings than what kind of bag you’re carrying. I can’t imagine how it would feel to experience that kind of personal violation. So scary!
@notablackclassicflap4416

My screen name is based on the fact that I was not really fond of classic flaps. Didnt really want one. But for some reason, when all the price increases started to happen, i felt like I had to buy one. But i would only buy a color, i loved, not black. In fact if i see an unboxing of a black classic flap, i stop watching. 😊I love dark reds. Mine is lambskin. The dark red caviar from the same season looks like a different color, has a lot more brown. The dark red lambskin is nice.

Enjoyed the Q&A Lisa! You had me tearing up regarding Jack. My oldest recently moved over 700 miles away, and it’s been a difficult adjustment for me. I’m in the states, southern, and grew up using “cull”. Hmm, maybe it’s a more common term in the south? 😊
@luxuryandlifeinthemiddle

My kids are definitely my weakness. I get emotional any time I talk about them. It sounds like it may be a southern term, too. Jackie said they use it in Texas in regard to herds. So interesting how different areas use different terms.

And yes, Jack likes to visit. But I still miss him a lot. Love the scooter idea. I just think I’d be too scared to ride one. Do they ride on the sidewalk or in the street? I really enjoyed this vlog! It is so incredibly generous of you to answer questions and give your community a peek inside your life. It is very much appreciated! Btw, I worked in the Prosecution’s Branch of the Justice Department in Canada for 35 years and have nothing but respect for you in your chosen career as a lawyer! I follow a fair number of Content Creators on KZitem but there are only four that I would actually want to become besties with and you and Dayle are two of them. I mentioned this on Dayle’s Q & A but I need to say it on yours as well. As much as I want your numbers to grow by leaps and bounds, I secretly don’t want anyone else to find you and discover what we as your community already know, and that is just how wonderful you are! There is something so likeable about you Lisa. I missed the opportunity to ask you a question so I’ll sneak one in now. If your kids were adults and living their own lives and if you were retired from your job and could travel anywhere in the world that you could stay for a couple of months, where would you choose to go? Sending positive vibes to you from cold Canada! 🇨🇦♥️

Ruth, you are too kind. You can’t imagine how wonderful that makes me feel. And the fact that you group me with Dayle is a high honor. As for your question, there are many places. Welcome Sherry! So glad to have you here. Like you mentioned, I started as a way to share my love of these beautiful things as I had no one in my real life who shared this passion. My favorite thing is connecting with others, like you, who appreciate the same things. And yes! I definitely edit my videos. I don’t think I edit my thoughts and feelings but I can really venture off on tangential topics. So a lot of that gets cut out once I sit down to edit. My videos tend to go pretty long (I’m a storyteller) so I actually change the speed in my videos to 103% just to speed things up a tiny bit 😂🤣

You have given the most comprehensive and sensible answer I have heard so far on the do-you-feel-safe-carrying-your-bags issue. Thank you!! 😂 What is the point of buying bags if you’re too scared to wear them? Thieves researching price increases! Brilliant! 😂😂 And the Sophie Shohet comment is so on point; my god the cars she drives are way more flashy-expensive than any bag could be! I notice bags all the time, because I’m a bag girl, and I have to say I have been seeing so many more people wearing luxury bags in the last year or two than ever before. If people are getting more scared, they are not showing it. Thank you for your insights.
