I had to decide between a pie and a can of coke for 60 cents or a lunchtime concert from some rock band called ac/dc at GRANVILLE BOYS HIGH in 1975 . I chose the concert in the school gymnasium. What a concert it was. The problem was that there was a funeral at the church across the road from the school' gymnasium . As Bon scott was singing HIGH VOLTAGE ROCK'N' ROLL full blast, the principle came in and told the band to lower the volume. As soon as the principle left the gym, the band crancked it up again. What a lunchtime concert it was , I went hungry that lunchtime but I saw history in the making .

Angus and Bon were an unstoppable force. I can’t think of another case where the guitarist makes the band, but that’s how it was with Angus, and Bon was just the icing on the cake that blew AC/DC into the stratosphere.. the schoolboy and the larrikin, both wildly talented, just caught the imagination of Australian kids across the board.

Changes , ACDC THEMSELVES DO THE SAME THING , THERE BACK STORY IS COMPLETELY FABRICATED , POWERAGE IS ACDC'S FIRST ALBUM. ANY OTHER ALBUM THEY CLAIM BEFORE IT , IS A FAKED PRODUCTION DATE, I KNOW OF 4 ALBUMS AT LEAST. BON ACTUALLY GOT HIS SONGS FROM A 14 YEAR OLD KID OVER 30+ SONGS 25 BEST OF THE BEST OF ACDC THE DATE BON RECIEVED THE SONGS IS MAY 22-23 1979 THAT DATE IS THE DEFINING MOMENT FOR ACDC. THE ALBUM BACK IN BLACK IS ACTUALLY BON SCOTT'S LAST BIG JOKE ON BRIAN JOHNSON, BRIAN JOHNSON DIDN'T write anything on Back in Black. Back in Black is written by a 14 year old kid, the album is named after the color of his Big Black Balls, ( Back in Black I hit the sack) after a swing accident in a creek. The song is sung from the prospective of his Balls. When Brian sings I'm Back in Black I'm Back in Black, What came Back Black ? It's the kids Balls !! Bon was about to create his own front band for ACDC called Bon Fire & actually Open for himself then Do his part 4 ACDC & then Brian Johnson would Finnish up . Yes. ACDC IS COVERING UP THE TRUTH BY PUTTING OUT A FAKE BACKSTORY & PUT OUT FAKE PUBLICATION DATES ON ALBUMS BEFORE POWERAGE, THE KID TOUGHT BON HOW TO USE IDENTIFIERS & THEY USED THEM IN THE SONGS , CASE IN POINT, BRIAN JOHNSON FALCELY CLAIMS TO HAVE WRITTEN, YOU SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG , WHEN IN FACT THE KID TITLED IT, & WROTE THE FIRST HALF BON FINNISHED IT UP USING DOUBLE TIME AS HIS IDENTIFIER (The Name of his girlfriends Horse) & that's not all !! ACDC DOESN'T KNOW WHAT ALL THE IDENTIFIERS ARE SO WHEN THEY MAKE STUFF UP THEY CREATE A FAKE BACKSTORY TO TRY TO COVER IT ALL UP... BUT THEY LIE & FORGET WHAT THEY SAY. THERE'S SO MUCH MISSINFORMATION ACDC HAS PUT OUT IT AINT EVEN FUNNY... HOW DO I KNOW ALL THIS ? IM THAT KID !! MY NAME IS STEVE & IM THE REAL GHOSTWRITER OF ACDC. GOT A SERIOUS QUESTION,? ASK I'll tell you the TRUTH. I KNOW MORE ABOUT MY SONGS THAN ANYONE INCLUDING ACDC !! WHY ? HOW ? BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T WRITE THE SONGS.... I DID.

Seriously? The opening music should have been the icons themselves! My mother is a biracial (her skin tone don’t matter I know I’m just so proud of my mom and my heritage) Scottish immigrant to America in 73 or 74 she came here and met my dad and had 6 kids 3 boys and 3 girls and she told us all about AC/DC. All eras, The first song I ever heard was Hells bells. I was literally born in a bathtub because I was born early and my brother knew she relaxed to music better so he grabbed his stereo that had back in black in it. Sure enough as soon as I came out? Hells bells started playing. And from then on it was like magic. I grew up listening to these guys, I’m from Beaufort South Carolina USA. And I’m getting ready to be 24 on May 13. 2022 (as I post this) anyways I love all eras of the band I can’t say Bon is better then Brian or Brian is better then Bon. Because both are equally great singers. The entire band is amazing. All around. No matter what era you were born in you know them in some form

I like it when both Angus and Malcom would waste no time giving any band members the sack when one was not cutting it. Obviously this was during the early incarnation of what eventually became AC/DC. The Young brothers were not playing in the sandbox. It’s worthy of mention anytime a lead singer tried coming across as a David Lee Roth type they got their dizzy ass kicked out of the band and quick. Malcom and Angus would have their tea and decide the next band mate in need of sacking.

I really love the bagpipes on "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n Roll)" but at the same time the instrument also made it difficult for the band to perform the song live, and the track was slowly erased from their set lists after a gig at the St. Albans High School in Victoria, Australia, whereupon Bon put down his bagpipes and then a bunch of crazy fans wrecked it.

1971 I went to a show at a local theater and on the bill was a band from Australia that totally rocked the house and were funny and everyone loved them. I expected them to be big but , after that night I never heard from Daddy Cool again...until the internet and I found out they were pretty popular down under. And in the latter 70s Angels were on my play list big time as well.

Who Was the best lead singer? The world would say Bon. Who is the 2nd best lead singer? The world would agree Brian over anyone else. The rest of the group was simply indispensable as a unit, Take any one of them away and they got worse. Mark Radcliffe, Angus & Malcolm, Phil Rudd all made the band one of the world's greatest, ever. Couff,n't have made them what they were where or what they became. wahatvtheybvmnecsmrbrevtheyvèr

Great documentary. I will disagree with one point. The narrator wants you to believe that Highway To Hell put AC/CD on the scene as a huge band - a headliner. No that was not the case at all. They were still not headliners. Most people in the USA had not heard of them, and only really dialed in fans of rock knew who they were. Here is where it gets weird. You have your Bon Scott camp, they love him and they should. But they are so resistant to embrace Brian as a legit awesome front man. Its not a competition. I will make the case for Brain that no reasonable person can deny. Brian wrote and recorded one of the biggest rock albums of all time. He did so as a freshman to this band, and he knew the pressure he had. He delivered with SPADES. No fan of rock will deny that album is no filler all jams. THAT is great writing and recording. Here is my final point... most of YOU that claim to be Bon Scott fans would have never found AC/DC if not for Brian Johnson. That is a fact. Bon is essential to the development to AC/DC but the real icon is Brian to took them to selling out arenas.... and introduced most of you reading this now to this band. So before you start to declare Bon over Brian, just think about that just a tad. Brian had what it took to take this band to the mainstream. This documentary does not get made if not for Brian. Its just another band that was on the rise and failed.

I personally love Bonny Scott, not for some superhero rock star reason, but his tongue in cheek humor and style, and I did find ac/dc before his death and don’t be arrogant about it, he’s one of the best front men ever. Brian took the baton and with his own style he finished the fantastic thing called ac/dc

I know the guy at the end wasn't insulting Bon when he said he wasn't the most technical singer but he actually was an extremely technical singer, I challenge anyone to manipulate their voice for an entire show the way Bon did and always sound exactly like the album, not many vocalists if any can do what Bon did. Bon had one of the most original voices in Rock history I easily put him up their with Freddy Mercury, Johnny Cash, or BB King!
