Would you ever consider making a video on resuing top shelf oil filters I.E your Fram Ultra Synthetic, Puralator Boss , Amsoil , Mobil1 , WIX XP For 2x usage. Like doing a test from one oil change, draining the filter completely upside down a plastic cup cleaning and re-installing. And then submitting another test after the Second oil change to see if there is a difference? Thanks!

That SUV is nice. Making is last many years by taking care of it is smart. Cars today are expensive and new ones cost a fortune to fix and insure. A vehicle a few years older can give great service if taken care of. So many people just keep buying new cars and wasting their money. Always great to drive a reliable older vehicle and save some money.

My Son is a brilliant machanic and body man. Of course thrue genetics. Im trying to get him to find time to work on my 2006 Ford Exploder lol Explorer.. Jersey uses that road brine in the winter and rots the fars . Good work you do. Blessings to youvSir.

The salt water brine used in the upper East Coast and especially Canada will eat thru your car the quickest. -Need to Fluid Film or PB Blaster Surface Shield before winter for certain and don't store a salted vehicle in a heated garage (worst thing you can do). Car wash on sunny days during the winter when possible. Chicago on the toll roads still salts 2-3x more than Jersey though. = They want that toll money (especially semi-truck) at all times and do not mess around. New vehicles are $40-50k+ now, so a simple $1500 3 ton lift at home may make sense to keep your salted vehicle running another 10yrs. -Clean/inspect all your neighbors vehicles also.

Nice Job. Body work is very expensive at a body shop, so you saved a ton of money. Check out the cost of a new Suburban! Yours is going to be very valuable to your family - a workhorse. I have a 2012 and I really am a stickler for maintenance - it is like new. I Fluid Film mine annually here in PA.

I actually enjoyed doing body work on my vehicles. I took a class in high-school. I can fill a dent with bondo.😅 Looking to do some on my GM. I want to fill in the holes in the rear doors that are under the trim.

I just picked up an 01 Dakota sport as a spare vehicle so I can have a pickup at the house, truck is in amazing shape and the body is absolutely flawless, however the paint is peeling really bad on the entire truck, I’m debating wether or not I want to try to paint it myself when I’ve never done that before

@@FordBossMe You didn't even sand in between the body and the bumper for one, two not sure why you sanded the bumper along with the body.....You can clearly see you didn't block it or at least use high build to hide the imperfections. If your going to do a hack job at least do a good hack job. 15min extra and it would of been a night and day difference. Block it with guide coat and use high build primer next time and it will look less like a used car dealer did it.

Why bother….? Every dime you put into this money pit is a dime you will never get back …. I’ve seen where these things end up you making steady trips to the bank then you eventually bankrupt and divorced and the suburban in the junkyard where it should have ended up when it came off the factory line

it saves about $100k by doing it. and i beg to differ on your opinion on the junkyard part. my 01 silverado manufactured in 2000 has been on the road 24 years, no major work on anything. all that's been done is break lines, rotors, calipers, breaks, tires, and one cupouling at the heater core. oh, i've changed the serpentine belt and tensioner, plugs and wires. every other thing on that truck came with it off the factory line. 24 years as a work truck too/ i'm a retired remodeling contractor so it's been worked hard for those years. there isn't a new truck or car that is capable of doing this anymore no matter the make or model.

New Suburbans are $80k+ and these older Suburbans are more truck than the new ones. Most full size trucks are also $50k+.
