Hey Frankie! Thanks for all the videos, We got 2 x axolotls about 3 weeks ago, put them into our tank, 1 week into owning them and battling water conditions we woke up to find that our 2 had turned into 202 (200 babies 2 x Adults lol) we decided to keep them and raise them, local fish shops are going to take them all once they get onto pellets, all your videos on breeding feeding and water quality have helped so much!!!! appreciate all the videos we couldn't have got to where we are without you!, super excited to see what color variations we get, currently cycling another tank as obviously we will keep a couple Thankyou!

@@shane.iannitti Hey mate! they are doing well, overall I have about 60 healthy happy baby axys, colors are wild and Lucy's. (makes sense as its the same as parents) Overall its been a really enjoyable experience to watch them grow, they are now on black worm and also frozen blood worms. strangely There is one enormous Lucy which is about 100mm long (4 Inches) where the next biggest is around 50mm (2 inches) Gonna keep for sure! can send pics if interested!

Question. Could you talk about having a carpeted tank bottom. Something they can not slip on. I don't want to put sand or gravel down.

You are not pronouncing axolotl correctly. Like someone else said it is not an English word, it is nahuatl (nah-wat) a native language in the US and Mexico. Axolotl is pronounced ah-sho-lot.

Hi Frankie my name is Oscar and I'm 11 years old and have finnaly recieved my first axolotl.im quite worried as the water is very cloudy dispite removing all fecies and food from the tank. My axolotl(named Loki) is only estimated 4 months old and I'm quite worried that we haven't put the right chemicals in the water despite what we have been advised. We have ordered a airpump and sponge filter which arrives tomorrow but still worried that the chemical balance isn't right. Unfortunately all the instructions we recieved with our ciano 60L tank were so bad and we have had not much luck online research. Thanks so much if you can help as I'm really worried about my new axolotl Thanks for any help -oscar age 11

Hi, I’m newly subscribed. I love how axolotls look, but am not sure I would be able to commit to caring for one. What do people do when they go away on holidays (once lockdowns are over etc). Do you actually even leave the house for more than 24 hours? Either way, I’m happy enough listen to you, your making it sound so easy and fun to keep them. I wouldn’t mind just to see more updates on the different pets and their antics 😊. Like how Pixel is squashing another plant, or how you find another destroyed tank in the morning. Oh, would you have any connections with breeders in Ireland (Republic, not Northern) by any chance?

The way colonizers pronounce axolotl is hilarious. It's a Nawatl word, people still speak the language. At the very least a Spanish pronunciation would suffice but whatever, you got money to make.
