This beautiful Diezel VH2 will serve to demonstrate how to change the mains voltage on a power transformer without a wiring diagram. You will see that the filament heater voltage is the only common value we can trust across all tube amplifiers, including yours.
Once we have it operating on the wall voltage we have to bias an amp when one power tube out of the four is weaker than its three mates. Not ideal...but we got the bias in the "Goldilocks zone"....just.
There’s a bit of learning to be had with this amp, and then you get to hear me do an unworthy version of a well-known song from the 80s, Owner of a Lonely Heart. (Sorry Mr Rabin). I was demonstrating the sound of this amazing machine and not my playing.
