The carnival features events like the Champion of Champions (with 25 double, 25 single, and 25 points), as well as the Handicap category. The most recent event took place in Toowoomba, Queensland, and showcased impressive marksmanship skills.

Ian competed in the event as his first major event since starting competition shooting again, ending the first day in 3rd position in his grade with a lot of ground to make up in the days to follow.
