@@BZRGarage Engine was pro built for an Econo B dragster and the 570 figure was with the tunnel ram that I wont be running. Using a victor Jr for some semblance of streetability. Full roller setup, eagle crank, Ed Pink rods, Venolia pistons, massaged old school angle port heads with 2.05 valves. One year later and the car still hasnt moved. Two other muscle car projects jumped up first (71 AMC Javelin 401 and my brother supercharged 68 Camaro). But now I'm back on the Vette! Waiting on headers and side exhaust to be delivered. Love your channel brother!

use solid U-joints.keep the side yoke in and out movement to .020 or less .a smart strut bracket can help with tire camber ,by lowering the strut rod mount point .the dragvette suspension is great ,and should be the first upgrade to a c2/3 vette if you plan to apply big power ,or drag race vettes alot .

100%. It is a huge improvement over the stock configuration. Not only for performance but safety.

I’m planning on using my 406 sbc with the 700r4. The only thing in the motor I have to change is the dome pistons (12:1) to something more street drivable. Hopefully go with 3:42 gears if possible and Holley EFI. Full roller 280H cam. I’m still looking for headers for full length exhaust and areo chambers

Sounds like a good set up, try to keep the compression around 10. My Vette is 10.8 and I have to run some octane booster to keep it happy. Headers are a pain, these are Doug's headers. They fit well for the most part, especially ground clearance but I still had to dent them in where my steering coupler is.

When you installed your 6 link did you remove your c clips in the differential?

I did, I also have a video explaining the install. LMK if you want a link to it, its not finalized and public but I have a overview of the install.
I built a 6 link, I have yet to finish the car and test it out. It’s a frame off, I had no idea the size of this project I started. 🙄

4 Link is way better , cost effective and un-breakable in the ways of the oem rear end

If your goal is to track your car, Id agree to a certain point. This video is more tailored to people who want a fun car to drive around and occasionally track. 4 link costs about 8,000 between the 9in, brakes, fab work, and overall kit to do it for the average Joe. 6 link costs less than a grand and most can self install it over the weekend. If you are making less than 1000 hp, 6 link works just fine. If you are making over a 1000 hp and your car spends more time at the track than on the street and your goal is to go as fast as possible then you already blew past the "budget" part of the build. Nothing beats a well set up 4 link with a well built 9 inch... nothing lol.
