I have the Orochi Launcher with the Tactical Handle. Should the "raised edge" on the rod be completely flush with the "raised edge" on the handle once they are put together? Without forcing the two pieces together, but still being quite firm, the closest together I can get the two pieces leaves about a 1/8th inch gap of "exposed" ferrel.

Ben, great video. I am obviously late to the party since this video is a year old, BUT I wanted to get your opinion on how much of a "step up" the Orochi series is over the Levante series. I haven't even picked up a Levante, as where I live there are simply no shops / retailers that carry Megabass. I have handled, and own, an Orochi Enforcer and love that stick for tubes, heavier drop shots and paddle tail swimbaits on 3/8 oz head. What is your opinion on the difference between the Orochi and Levante lines of rods? I will hang up and listen to your reply. :-)

Do you think its possible to cast the 6in Magdraft freestyle on the EMTF with a #6 belly weight ? Im currently using a MH Shimano Zodias as a crossover for saltwater fishing with great results fishing the 180 jackall Dowzswimmer and the Magdraft. The only problem is that MH action tends to be a bit to stiff on some fish that pull hard and tend to straightened some tremble hooks. The EMTF seems like a good fit from what you mentioned .I don't fish anything bigger then 6in swimbait .

Rod/reel combo with fishing kit as an emergency setup kzitem.infoUgkxntWMOZsO1Zfv-pdn_XuffEtNkTYAYu4Z recommend but started to use this every day. The rod is thick and seems durable. I keep it neatly tucked into a regular backpack all the time with my fishing gear, and can grab it anytime, put it on my back and go anywhere. I just read in another review that the rod length below the reel is adjustable as well, so I will try that too for even more portability. Probably the best setup I've ever owned. I lost the cap for the eyelets, but no big deal since I still have the black cloth sheath that came for the pole and I use that. Very portable and high quality.

Levante's are beautiful, stunning rods. I am a St Croix Glass Rod man for many reasons, but before I die I will have to fish (not own) a Dobyns and a Levante Rod. 2 things Sir, you should explain JDM (your forget that you are totally in tune with the Japanese Market). We are not. Are you a Military Brat? You clearly lived in Japan, how did that happen? I had to look up JDM and I am quite the knowledgeable fisherman or I thought so til I tuned into you. Clearly, I need more Japanese fishing knowledge. But I Gained A Lot from your last guest from Japan. I could talk to you guys all night. Already bought weight strips...balance or flat is apparently important with Frogs. I have my own Fly Kit. I am going to replace rabbit hair on a few Frogs too. HOLY COW, I learned a lot. I am going to Fish completely different. I had already been researching Reaction Techniques. But I never thought about working an AREA and Bring the Fish to me through wake or sound. BOOM, I am a new fisherman in temperament Now for Sure. I learn something from you guys all the time. Now i will put my finger on the metal when retrieving line too. Thanks for all you do. It is so funny because I had been researching Co Angler position on the boat. Was gonna join a Tourney. Research said that the back boater that just fishes his lane and doesn't worry about being back boated or throwing in the front near the lay downs wins tourneys. Research says that anglers who burn there path do the best in the tournaments. Now, I know why, cause I was skeptical. They are attracting the fish to them, unknowingly, by fishing the same lanes over and over and over because they have to. WOW, my mind is blown. So patience is a Virtue. And we have been Brainwashed to Rush! Rush Fast Food. Rush Cleaners. Now I am going to do some heavy research on reaction baits, bites and the best techniques and finalize my Style. My style was Good and Knowledgeable At Techniques. But now, I am going to be FANTASTIC at 1 technique (Reaction Bites cause I am convinced that is how you land the PIG) and good at all others. 2nd, Btw, I support your love for Orion. I am still in love with Danish lagers and German lagers and Irish Guinness. I will have to retry them, from what I remember they have a Sharp taste. I like the rounded taste. I worked in alcohol business as a Regional Mktg Mgr for USA Beer company for 15yrs. Went to Great American Beer Festival yearly for years and tried every beer from almost everywhere. BTW, you are on to somehting with the Japanese Pro or Lure Maker Guest!!!!!!!!! Yes Sir!
