I’m confused why you would choose to use blocks to level rather than jacks. With the Level Mate Pro you could manually level with the Level Mate Pro from your captains chair in probably 30 seconds. Maybe I missed something.

Thank you. This was our first summer with our motorhome and we have had some “leveling challenges.” We did feel a little tipsy walking from the back to the front a couple of times! Our front tires were even off the ground once, and we didn’t notice until after we had our slides out and power connected. We will not make that mistake again. You guys are the best!

I have HWH air leveling without jacks. One step push the auto level button and as long as slope is not terrible it levels perfectly. It is amazing the amount of out of level it can fix, then put slide out. It also monitors the level and adjusts itself if needed. I love this system, it is so simple.

Yet again, another great episode of much needed tips. A lot of folks aren't aware about the "Level First! Then Slides Out". Really important if you want to make sure the slides stay in prime shape.👍😎 It was such a pleasure to be able to meet you both at the show today. You're both so kind and genuine. Thank You Izzy for your Service. Mary, the former Flight Attendant from Newark and Joe. And our six "Grand Pits".👍😎❤

Newmar now directs you to put slides out before extending jacks, watching the gaps around the full length slide for pinching. I guess best to follow procedure as specified in owners manual.

Great video. I have a 40 foot diesel pusher with a full wall slide and 2 slides on the passenger side. Being that these slides are so heavy do you think that when I open them it will effect the levelness? Not sure if thats even a word but I'm sure you get it. LOL. Thnx

I see some folks level with their wheels are off the ground. Is that safe? I don’t know if I could level that way as I think just have the weight of the coach on those very small cylinders wouldn’t be a good idea. I just installed Levelmate pro and can’t wait to use it on our next trip. Thanks for the video. I don’t typically dump air before lowering the jacks, so that was new info.. thanks for the great video.

Do you recommend using blocks under the tires when the RV is in storage? This is our first time winterizing our RV we bought used this summer. We have a gravel pad next to our garage but noticed the front of our coach is a few inches lower.

We have just added Liquid Spring. We understand we can lower the back with one push down from Ride Height and front and back with two. Is that what you were referring two when you talked about the Liquid Spring Step ? For example front up back down, etc. ?

Very good video. I don’t have anything but the old style leveling system. Both front jacks come down together and the back ones left and right separately. And sometimes it’s a pain in the ass to get the 2002 motorhome level. I have a level app on my phone and lay it on the counter and listen for the beeps that tell me I’m level then I check it with a 2ft level to make sure. I always say there’s got to be a better way. Any suggestions?

Wonderful and informative video as always, thank you! You have a mini for Lynx Pads but I think you mentioned and showed Hosspads. Are those the pads you are using? I have the LevelMate Pro and use that to get as close to level but then I hit the auto level jacks and they are always perfect. I'm really glad you emphasized leveling first then extending the slides. I was told the opposite when I bought my Canyon Star and that was definitely wrong. Thank you again!!

Actually Newmar recommends you check gaps first around long slide and if it looks close then deploy long slides first.

Read the manual that came with your coach about what to do first most of the Newmars with full wall slides say to first check the gap between the slide and coach on the long slide and if it looks pretty even then deploy the slide before leveling the coach. But everything else he said is right on and I'm guessing they don't have a long slide. Great video will look into getting the leveling unit I like that you can use your phone.

Pads under the tires are ridiculous, too much hassle, waste of time IMO. I've NEVER needed them. Occasionally I'll use a block of wood under one of my hydraulic jacks, maybe 2. Plus, 99.8% of gasser motorhomes don't have the $20K liquid spring setup, so that step is not relevant to the masses.
@EndlessRVing

It’s simply how we level. Does not apply to everyone take what you want from it.
