Love your work Gotham chess keep at it mate, I LOVED to see that you’re going for the GM and with a strong attitude too, I have all the faith my man. Loving your book and please come to Australia. I like how advanced our chess AI has become. We don't let them play their own choice of openings because they'll be boring and draw. If there's one thing online competitive games have taught is that it's all a numbers game. You only need above 50% winrate for progress, which still means you'll lose nearly half your games. Don't obsess over it, think about the things you did wrong and learn from it but move on.

Having a slightly worse or even a slightly uncomfortable position is just pure agony in 90+30, especially against lower rated players. If you are just losing you can come to terms with your situation, but you do not know what will happen in a slightly worse position, there is still a chance to come back and win or draw (painful against lower rated players), but you can FEEL your optimism fading away as the clock ticks down. After a massive 90+30 tournament I'd do nothing for five days, which really isn't sustainable when you have work.
