Forget the consequences? There are consequences for everything. Lewis can not help what he says it is part of his disability. Do think for one minute he’d be ok dropping the F bomb just for the heck of it? No. So for you to say speak their mind and forget the consequences is wrong. Yeah, speak up and speak your mind and don’t be run over by people but to belt out vulgarities just because you feel like it is wrong. I don’t like hearing it because it’s not needed and there are many many others who feel the same. . There’s no need in using that language. You can make your point another way. Everything has its consequences my friend. And this girl should not have said what she did and and Nolan was right to shut her down. I’m sorry I just don’t agree with you on that.
@tadhg2491
5 жыл бұрын
haha you do realise the dude with tourette's literally said who woulda knew people like being told to fuck off so much (4:32), when he said that it wansnt a tick, so why was that acceptablewhen a couple of minutes later it was unacceptable? I hate when people say there is no need for that language because yes there fucking is. Swear words, fuck in particular, are extremely versatile words that we need to express moments of great physical or emotional pain or anguish when other words just wont cut it. In this case the women used it for comic relief which seemed to be keeping in vein with the rest of the show. When Nolan, or the person in his ear, jumps in and shuts her down it brought more attention to the fact she used the curse word and the fact it was not okay for her. Whereas if he said nothing the audience laughs the show moves on and the broadcasting company gets a couple of angry letters from people like you with nothing better to do than to police language

Fair play to him, top bloke. Not letting Tourette's affect his confidence. Strange as this is, the more you just watch him talking, you dont notice the swearing and tics as much at all, its as if your mind filters them out because your brain knows it doesnt need to hear them, so you can quite easily understand him the same as any other non sufferer. Good man.

i think people who have tourrets are heroes to us all. they get to say the stuff wed get in trouble for saying👍 what i mean is that they actually have more free speech than we do. they show the world that its ok to be yourself. they have alot of strength and courage to go through it. yet it is sad at the same time. but they are a gift to humanity as they have the ability to cheer us up and make people laugh when we are having a bad day💕
