While working on project LS400 my friend called me and told about the problems he had with his 1993 Lexus LS400. The car would stall, go in limp mode, had no power, and the next moment it ran perfectly fine. Those are (a few of) the symptoms of leaking capactitors on the engine ECU. So I went to his car and removed the ECU, checked the circuit boards and indeed: 8 leaking caps. In this video I show you the ins- and outs of my repair. Spoiler alert: after this repair the still had issues that could be traced back to the ECU.
