We have D132,133,137 FYM on our school runs, they are looked after quite well

Those 3 were ex Plumstead, Selkent motors. L137 suffered a really bad head on accident one night on the last bus when a drunk driver hit us head on

41 of Norwood's L's were refurbished and given Voith boxes, probably for the retention of the 2. They were very good buses, just the vandals in South London targeted them far too much. I don't think many enthusiasts said good riddance when they left - I certainly never.

Good video, I remember this bus when it was owned by Arriva London! Thankfully this one had been one of the ones lucky enough to be refurbished, but the ones that weren't refurbished were in such a nasty condition! They worked on routes that went through some quite rough areas, so its not too surprising. Most people said good riddance when they were finally withdrawn in late 2005!

Yuck! I never liked the Gardner / Voith combination on anything except T684. D171FYM here sounds very tired!

I'm pretty sure the engine sounds like a Leyland TL11.
