You know, I am a 14 year old girl. I haven't heard of most the games you review, mostly because they were made a few years before I was born. I've come to the conclusion that the main two reasons that I'm not only subscribed to you, but watch every one of your videos is as the following, 1.) You're freaking hilarious 2.) You reply to comments. I love that.

@rastaxp Considering that both games came out in 1991 in differing areas of the world, I find that rather unlikely. Also, Carl Bieling isn't listed anywhere in the Supaplex credits. It really isn't hard to run into huge similarities though, since both Supaplex and Herman are unapologetic Boulderdash variants. It was quite a common game type back then.

I couldn't help but laugh looking at Windows 3.1. Last year in school we found a really old PC during robotics class, and upon starting it up and seeing it ran Windows 3.1 I had a field day playing around with it (like, 2 hours worth after completing my final) and everyone was baffled I knew how to control it. I think I might ask the school for that computer, so I can play some Herman myself :3

Windows After Hours reminds me of a pack of shareware and freeware games that Windows sold during the years of '95. It came on multiple different themed CD packs and had a lot of content to play. I can't for the life of me remember what it was called, though! I do remember that one of the games was some kind of Pipe Dream clone involving getting cars through traffic and going from point A to point B, while another one on a completely different CD was some kind of shooting gallery-esque game involving pacifying obnoxious crying babies, except the game didn't work right and often wouldn't allow you to quit the game once you've started it. It was downright bizarre.

@Phreakindee ever heard of Supaplex? Review that one once, if you wouldn't mind. It's the best rendition of a boulder-dash/Frocks/whatever clone I've ever had a chance to lay my hands upon. It's a DOS game with superb Adlib/Roland MT-32 music and great SB/PC Squeaker sound… I'd love to hear (and see) your opinion on that once… I could even help you obtain a copy, if need be.

@phreakindee The level you are playing at around 4:08 is exactly the same as in Supaplex. Even thought it's a long time I played that game, I can almost guarantee that it's the same. I also seem to recall the one at 4:17. Just find it wierd that they are so similair in design. As you say both games came out in 91, and in different areas of the world. I havent played Boulder Dash. Maybe that is were these levels originated, and since have been remade in both this game and Supaplex.
