My son and I have been watching all your thrift store finds. We have absolutely been inspired by you. Si we dug out our old game systems. We found his Nintendo 3ds and gameboy advance. The gameboy advance wasnt working so I fiddled with it and it works flawlessly now. Now I can save Nemo! Thank you for the inspiration.

I definitely share your nostalgia for CompUSA, it's where my family bought our first computer (a mid 90s Compaq Presario, one of the ones with the translucent blue plastic over the CD drive) and where we got pretty much everything computer related until they closed down

OMG! I love Star Trek Judgement Rites. I had both the floppy version and the later CD-ROM special edition. One of very few games I've ever finished. Probably in my top 3 favorite games

Glad they arrived tasty! The GP2X is surprisingly powerful for something that runs on a couple of AA batteries. Got mine to play CIV which was difficult mapping all the controls for a handheld but it was fun learning what was & wasn’t absolutely needed.

Oh my god I had a Psion 3 ,borrowed it from my dad as a kid. You could program on it. I made a simple top down racing game (from an instruction manual,lots of lines to write)...where you move a dot and avoid other dots lol. It sucked. Psion 3 even had a phoneline plug,to send FAX,an e-mail client of sorts and a very good text editor (very similar to Word )

@@yungboy4216 Not true, some youtubers put em right in the middle of a video as well, its usually the same advert repeated multiple times throughout the video. It ruins the video as its so abrupt. Its so annoying when your round someones house watching youtube on a big telly and they havnt got an ad blocker. Thank fuck all my devices block every online advert by default, makes for a much better experience. BTW, I dont mind the ones like in this video, just the inane video interrupting ones.

You're not kidding about how hard old edutainment disks are to find. I spent 15 years looking for any source for the Apple ][ version of "Juggles' Rainbow" (it's called "Juggles' Butterfly" on the PC) before it turned up.

@@mapesdhs597 I can't afford anything at the minute, let alone a 1080ti used or not lol. I have an I5 2400 with 8gb ram and a 750ti. I chucked it together for next to nothing and it does a job, but I long to be able to pick "Ultra" instead of "medium" in the graphics settings lol

Play older pc games on ultra. Emulate older console games or handheld games. The 750ti is capable of quite a lot. If you can scrounge up some more money get a 780.

Sealed Ocarina of Time is a bit of a bummer because it has battery backed saves, so it'll have to be opened at some point. Still, I think it's a CR2032, so probably no immediate rush, it's only about two decades old.

I definitely know what you mean about difficult-to-find games from your childhood. When I was a kid I remember there was a game I played all the time called Starbright Diabetes and it was an edutainment game with a little alien, and I can't find a copy of it anywhere. My original copy got scratched to shit and back. I can't find a copy of it ANYWHERE. I'm pretty sure you used to be able to get them for free.

Helping you plug the sponsor: I use last pass and have been using it for some years now. It's good stuff, and the free tier has just been getting better and better. You can share passwords with people as well. If you do get it tho, an advice: keep a few passwords unique and off the tool. For instance, my email account connected to last pass is not stored there, obviously. Two factor is even better, if you have the patience.

How have you not played ocarina of time!?! Recently imported master quest for gamecube/wii. Its so good. You really aught to get up on it. I'd actually really love to see an LGR plays OoT for the first time. Its a bit slow, you have to invest some hours, but its amazing. BoTW is great, but in '98, my tiny brain was blown.
