Only a third of the way in and I can see this is going to be great advice. Took me forever to realize you can't tweak these cards like you would a non-lhr card because the power, clocks, etc. bounce around (watching until the end to see if I'm proven wrong on the clock speeds). You got my sub with this. Also, anyone having a hell of a time with the MSI 3060ti Gaming X? My MSI trio and duo work fine but the Gaming X is CONSTANTLY triggering LHR lock.

Each update there are some changes, things get fixed and new stuff get introduced that could cause new issues. with the new NBMiner versions (v39.6-v39.7) moving the mouse curser on the background has been fixed. About your issue, try to give a lower LHR value to that particular card, or different OC settings. it could also have thermal issues. many causes for same issue. you can use GPU-Z to see if that particular card throttles.

this is also a good way of getting rid of the annoying locks, but you wouldn't get the efficient LHR Mode 2. Also the Hashrate fluctuations wouldn't make sense because you wouldn't be having the feedbacks.

Fantastic. Spent a week trying to figure out what to do but no luck. The tip on the power at 100% is golden, made a huge difference. I am now at least able to get somewhere trying to tweak the OC settings. Curious - are you available to hire for a couple of hours to help me finalize my OC settings? I still can't quite get rid of the lhr lock error.

I would suggest if possible to lock the voltage at 750mv and start with 0 core clock. 2200 for memory clock and see how it is doing.

Awesome video, but I really need help with my Asus TUF RTX 3060 LHR. No matter what I try, but it always ends up being triggered with the LHR lock after every 4 minutes, My card isn't experiencing thermal throttling, and I also tried increasing the power limit, but so far no luck. I tried lower/higher cclock, NBMiner and T-Rex miner, yet I wasn't able to do anything. It's been a week now, and I'm really frustated. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Start with these settings and see if make any difference. Memory clock 1000, core clock -250. Then see the results and based on them try to lock the voltage at around 750mv, and let me know about the results

@@withtech341 Hey man, thanks for the help, it actually works, but after one LHR lock (It only locks it one time), my hashrate is stuck at 27mh/s. Any suggestions on maximizing the hashrate? Cheers! Edit: I changed the power limit to 100 and it's giving me a constant stable 34mhs. But I still need to figure out a way to get 40+mhs. Thanks for the help!
@withtech341

Increase the memory clock, notice the most profitable value and the most stable, and sometimes increasing core clock could also increase the hashrate. If you couldn’t get higher hashrate, wait for the upcoming miner updates. And remember some cards give more hashrate than the others of the same model.

Thanks for the content, but I really need your help with my 3080. I'm constantly getting LHR lock feedback no matter what I do. These are the things tried so far: lower/higher core clock - lower/higher voltage - locked/curve clock and voltage - zero (stock) memory frequency - power limit %100 or above - NB/T-rex/lol miners - low/high power mode in miner. All of this with no luck. It happens less often when using igpu but it's still there. Sometimes It keeps reducing value until I come back the next morning or so. It's been three months yet still couldn't make it work. I'm very miserable here.

Okay, is your mining computer same as your daily basis computer? If so try to use an OS with no other apps or services. From what you said you seem to have flashed your bios, did you have locks before flashing it or just pwr? And finally try these settings for me and let me know about the results, use t-rex miner latest version. Overclock the gpu within the batch file. Set lock core clock at 1300, memory clock 1250, fan 85, intensity 25, and power limit 100.

for me the solution was none of this. I even gamed some less demanding games and the hash rate ran fine until I started getting 5001 MHz running on the 3080 Ti instead of 10800 MHz just idling. Solution? Don't run Xbox app in background whilst mining Still tweaking but atm I get stable 82 MH/s at 0,65 efficiency. +0 core, +1600 Mem, 40% power limit

It is always important to find the best settings for your own GPU because they are different from each other. Also, there has been new updates from the time I made the video so things have changed and even for me, there are things that weren’t working back then but work at the moment. And thanks for sharing.
