Hello Ghostly, welcome to my channel and thank you for the compliment. to be honest, in most of the build that involve with either SL or AL fans, I will do these, connect all sets of fans with their fan load connector to the motherboard directly (the 4 pin PWM fan connector) and let the motherboard control the fans RPM instead of connecting it to the uni controller. then leaving only the fan argb connector connected to the uni controller. let the uni controller handle the argb load. that why, your fans will only ramp up at start up of your com.

Hi Fabio Di Gaetano, welcome to my channel. If you are referring to the P12 PWM PST argb fans, yes you can, no issue, you can connect the fan header to the LF2 header that is located at the hose of this AIO and as for your argb, you will need to connect it to your motherboard argb 5v header, in order to control the argb effects.

@TheKungFuKid ok. 1) your AL fans that is on the Radiator, are they daisy chained to the AIO fan splitter which is near the tube? if you did that.. unplug them. plug the radiator AL fans directly to the CPU_FAN and the AIO pump to CPU_FAN1P, see page 13 of chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/viewer.html?pdfurl=https%3A%2F%2Fdlcdnets.asus.com%2Fpub%2FASUS%2Fmb%2FLGA1700%2FROG_MAXIMUS_Z690_EXTREME%2FE18923_ROG_MAXIMUS_Z690_EXTREME_UM_WEB.pdf&clen=8350545&chunk=true . this will fix your fan error issue. Next plug the argb connector to the uni controller. As why doing this, if you plug both fan connector and argb connector to the uni controller. what if your uni controller malfunction? then your rad fan will follow to malfunction. but if you only plug the argb connector to the uni controller and have plug the fan connector as I've mentioned to you. At least you know your rad fans are still working without the argb effect. 2a) As for the rest of your Case AL Fans, you can just plug all connection to the uni controller. you dont have to connect the PWM cable between the uni controller to your motherboard. make use of the L-Connect 2 to control the rpm of your set of AL case fans. 2b) now even if you do plug the pwm cable between the uni controller to one of your motherboard fan header. so long on L-Connect 2 when you set fans to follow PWM, all your fans will just follow one pwm setting and not individual settings my suggestion to you is to get 1) done first, then continue with troubleshooting on 2a) or 2b)

Hey, nice video very straightforward, I bought Liquid Freezer II 360 Rev 7 and I already had 3 Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM Chromax fans but I don't know how to connect the cables to get the best performance. I noticed 2 possible options. I could connect these fans to a header that was already mounted with the heatsink, but then the vrm fan pump and the Noctua fans that have higher max rpm and higher power consumption will be connected together, which will cause the pump not to run at 100% all the time. The second option is to connect the vrm fan and pump to the aio_pump connector on the motherboard and set them to 100%, and connect the fans to the cpu_fan connector using Noctua's NA-YC1 splitters, which I already have enough. My question is, which of these options will guarantee the quietest and most efficient operation, and in the case of the option with connecting aio to two connectors, can the built-in cable splitter be somehow removed from the pipes without much interference? Also in your video you connected the Lian Li fans to the built in splitter and said that the pump will work at 100%. Does it mean if I connect my fans with the cable that runs in tube sleeves and connect aio to aio_pump header on x570s Aorus Elite Ax the pump will run at 100% and I can still control fans rpm ? This is what I will do to have full control and to have a quiet system. 1) I do understand the Arctic Liquid Freezer II has just one plug (pump & radiator fans) but I will separate then. 1st plug the pump connector to your motherboard AIO_Pump header. Run it at full speed. As for radiator fans. Do not plug to the liquid aio daisy chained cable. Just daisy chained your radiator fans with the splitter that comes with your NF A25-12 fans and plug it directly to CPU_FAN. Control these fans via the motherboard UFEI. Set the required pwm curve to your liking. 2) for front fans, plug to Chassis_fan 3) for rear fan, do the same as 2) but at another fan header. Control the PWM 2) and 3) in UFEI to your liking. That will give you total control how loud and quiet you wanted it to be. Of course you will need to do some testing base on the temperature. Now for aio pump, I always set it to full speed. As this provides good cooling solution yon draw the warm solution to your radiator. Plus having consistency, you prolong your pump motor this way.

You can actually buy a Lian Li ARGB Device Cable Kit that has the converter for the Lian Li proprietary ARGB connector to a standard ARGB 5v header. Pretty sure its the same ARGB standard, so you could probably do a hack job yourself, but if you blow something up that is not on me. I bought the kit and plugged my fans directly into my Mobo and it works just like standard ARGB products, so should be no different on the Arctic Freezer II ARGB lines.

Hi Vijay Nathan, welcome to my channel. if your GPU is not vertically mounted, the only place you can put your fans is behind at the compartment where your cable management is at. if you use a GPU Vertical mount, it's not an issue to mount the radiator at the side and with fans on both sides. however. now your question about the AL fans. they do fit not an issue. as for placing the stock fans to the other side of the radiator. I do not advise you to do so. you should place same build and fans to do push pull configuration. if you place one side AL and one side P12, either of your fans will damage in no time.

@@KleoYan Thanks for the response, I just want to be super sure Im doing this right as its my very first build. and very glad you are so helpful. @@rasmusjosefsson3486 hmm.. just abit of correction.
