Since you're already modding the side panels, did you consider adding a 140mm fan to the cpu panel? The pump is 39mm height and the Q58 has 67mm of cpu clearance, so there should be enough room for a 25mm fan. It should provide with fresh air for the CPU radiator, so it doesn't depend too much on the negative pressure.

Currently im running r5 3600 and rtx3070, and im having a hard time finding and doing the undervolt for my 3600 using gigabyte b550i aorus pro ax as the interface and terminologies inside the bios is totally different with MSI and Asus. Hopefully you will be able to share (if ever you get hold to a gigabyte board) the counterpart terminologies from MSI and Asus to this Gigabyte board as Im really eager and excited to know how to effectively undervolt my 3600 so it runs cooler on this case. Hi A P, welcome to my channel, for fan orientation, I have bottom as intake and the top which are my radiator fans to be exhaust. One of my viewers suggested that I should have the bottom fan as exhaust too. I did tried but I didn't get a good result, but you might want to give that a try. I’ve got a Q58 with a standard ATX PSU, along with a 120 radiator. Coupled along with a Ref 6800XT, undervolted R5 5600X. I am seeing gaming temps as high as 85-90C. Considered going full mesh on both sides for better temps, but unsure if it will help at all. This thing is a hot rig

Hello Luis Mendoza, welcome to my channel. I am not able to answer your questions but how did you setup your Q58 as in fans involve and how they are placed and are your ATX cables managed properly. If you did manage your Q58 cable management properly, then the all mesh function will work. I have other friends who have similar setup as I have but they did not do their cable management properly, end up confronting me that this video is not true. Then I show them what I did kzitem.info/news/bejne/u6mZt5mdiHRjpZw and they did the same. Results after properly cable management does help improve the temperature.

Hi William Mason, welcome to my channel, I have done the measurement and I have three. each is at 20mm (W) x 15mm (H). since it's foam, after a period of time where the GPU sits, the foam will sink the height from 15m to 13mm.

Hi, I know this video is quite old but I happened to chance upon this when I was looking for normal temps on the q58. I’ve owned one for close to 2 years now and my temps used to be 50-52 on idle and 83-88 while gaming (will post specs below). I used this think this was normal lol until recently I started hosting a dedicated server and my temps just went through the roof, one of my fans died trying to cool my cpu down. So I googled for ways to cool down my build and wow all I did was replace the glass panels with 2 diy mesh panels like in the video. I wanted to shift the gpu nearer to the mesh as well, but I just couldn’t cus the screws were so freaking tight. I managed to get the right one out but the left one’s just stuck there… the screw head is completely destroyed and I have no idea how I’m going to take it out… would appreciate any ideas you may have on this. But just changing the panels + I did a diy mesh panel for the top as well. Temps dropped to 37 on idle and 72 while gaming and hosting the server. HUGE DIFF. Thanks for this video man. Hi Brandon, welcome to my channel, that's good to hear, infact for ITX build the most important key is cable management. my friends have done their build with the same configuration of this Q58, which is to do GPU offset and to place two DIY Mesh to replace the glass, but due to cable obstruction. Their thermal drops alittle. They have pass thier case to me and I did the cable management for them. The result goes well as it drops significantly on thermal. once again thank you to have shared your experience and geatly apprecitated it 😉

Has anyone tried swapping the fans and the radiator, so that the rad is on top and fans on the bottom (would need a fan guard then of course). It would allow for either less stress on the tubes going into the rad or mounting the PSU higher up to have more clearance on the bottom for a bigger FAN/cables/disk etc.

Hello Gen Uchiha, welcome to my channel, this is just based on my experimental ways and means to cool the PC components. This might not be a very high end pc but here in Singapore weather is always hot and humid, therefore to me its worth getting additional Q58 mesh panel. have all panel mesh and keep the glass. If you feel this defeat the purpose, you can try these. 1) undervolting with PBO2 if you are using AMD Ryzen 3 5000 series processors, for intel, pardon me I do not have an intel build. 2) undervolting GPU 3) Move the GPU near to the mesh front instead of the original position. I got to apologize, I think this video is rather lengthy for you to digest. so ya, you can try those first before you decide to get the mesh panels and depending on which country you are from. those Q58 Mesh panel kit are not cheap, just happened that I found a good deal which I have shared. Hi Kizzler, welcome to my channel. The issue here is, you can’t do alternate as there is restriction on how the glass orientated. Is either you put the glass on both side at the top or bottom. This is due to the hing of the glass panel that restrict you from doing alternate as you have mentioned. Unless get another set of tempered glass.

@@KleoYan Ah okay I understand. I can't decide between this and Dan A4-H20. I can't find proper comparison on KZitem between both case tempratures. Do you think both are similar or is Q58 better with gpu offset and full mesh configuration?

@@Kizzster I can’t really tell you which is better. As I don’t have the A4 Dan case. But I choose the Q58 is mainly because of its smaller footprint and for most ITX build, I try not to put highend processor or gpu. So it’s still up to yourself what do you prefer. An example, a lot bought this Q58 and end up wanting to sell it away due to placing too highend parts and the temperature. This video did gave them a second thought as there are ways and means to improve the situation.
