Sad that today there's litterally NOTHING there in Vegas to commemorate his existance...and Dean Martin's. In 1990 (my 1st time in Vegas), I saw a Liberace impersonator. He was GREAT!

@@Bertminator, a number of Liberace's cars, costumes and memorabilia are on display in The Liberace Garage section of The Hollywood Car Museum on Dean Martin Dr in Vegas right behind the Luxor. There's a good amount of other costumes, pianos and memorabilia of Liberace's estate at Thrilla Villa, Michael Jackson's Vegas home. The director of Liberace Garage can give you the details. It's a fascinating tour. Check it out the next time you're in Vegas. It's well worth the experience. 🙂G!

I really enjoyed it. If we are going to be stickler for accuracy, the fact that he included in his medley the song "La Paloma" wasn't quite right since la Paloma was composed by a Basque composer after his visit to Cuba. According to Wikipedia: "La Paloma", "The Dove" in English, is a popular Spanish song that has been produced and reinterpreted in diverse cultures, settings, arrangements, and recordings over the last 140 years. The song was written by the Spanish Basque composer Sebastián Iradier (later Yradier) around 1860 after a visit to Cuba." Of course I don't blame Liberace, I blame the producer who gave him the list of "popular" Mexican songs!
