Canadians surely appreciate your care of their graves and honoring their sacrifice. Deeds not words at its finest.

Wow! My Late Uncle Pte. John Henry Lavigne is buried there (Grave 15, Row A, Plot 9). I had a chance to visit and pay my respects at his grave in 2010, but I didn't know that they did this on every Christmas Eve - thanks for sharing this video - and our gratitude to all who continue this special honoring event.

As far as I know, most foreign military graves in the Netherlands are still being 'adopted' by families to remember the fallen soldiers. A grave gets adopted, and thereby the diseased soldier as well, so the maintenance and remembrance is a certainty. Thanks for your uncles sacrifice!
