I think people need to chill with having to go on dates and make it special. The fun part of beeing with someone is beeing able to stay at home in pyjamas watch series and play games, order food and feel like it was the best day ever because you did it with someone you love. Apreciate tha daily things like just huging and cuddling, that's still a way to try and show love.

I am sorry but I don’t agree :) out of the 365 days, we do exactly that. Come home from work, and then maybe cook something or order food and then watch some TV and go to bed. So in my opinion it is so important to plan dates on weekends or take a day off to treat your relationship to something different and maybe adventurous 😊

Thank you for sharing! I really enjoy your videos, so warm.❤ And oh my God, I need to go to Seoul Forest with my kid It's so pretty there ❤ The biggest thing I miss after moving to Seoul is that I don't see that many people with children here and it's a bit harder to make friends with other parents (and help the baby to make friends and sociolize). I've never been to Denmark, but I think it sounds amazing to live there as well!

Hi, Sissel! It’s always so nice to watch your videos❤ Fortunately, my Korean in-laws are not pushy either… I am already 40 and I have never felt the call to be a mother, although I do love children (but being the eldest sister, I know that having your own kids is an entirely different matter as I saw both my parents working so hard for me and my 3 siblings). In Argentina and Latin America in general, it is very common for people to push others and make comments about others having to have kids, but nowadays people have become aware of the fact it is a very delicate topic and awareness is being raised about it, so not pushy family members are greatly appreciated 💕 At the end of the day, it is the couple who has to decide according to their wishes and possibilities❤ We are also thinking about where we will live in the future, and probably we will choose Korea since Argentina is not a good option as it is always under some kind of crisis 😅 According to my birth chart and the configurations of my planets (astrology believer here), by 2026 I will move abroad… but right now we are in Buenos Aires🇦🇷 I love the fact that you want to keep dating and I congratulate you both on that❤ Big hugs and looking forward to your next video🤗🤗🤗

I have been with my partner for 8 years, and I have been harassed, in a loving way, by every person we have ever met to have children. I don't know if it's curiosity from people. My husband is Irish and I'm Central American. Or they are just bring pushy because we have been together for so long. Being Latin my family has always demanded me to have children but I am too selfish. I like being with myself doing whatever I want whenever I want. But not going to lie I sometimes get curious myself. His family is the same way honestly. Honestly is it it wrong to not want children but want them at the same time? I have 3 fur babies and I don't think I'm ready for human babies.

I am sorry for you that you are being pushed 🙈 I have been with my partner for 7 years, but we have never been asked the kids question. Maybe it’s because I just graduated from university and no one with a clear mind would expect us to have a baby while I’m a student or as a recently graduated 😂 but i also can’t really imagine having kids. I like the romanticised idea of it, but I don’t think I will be having kids within the next 5 years. I want to build my career first and then maybe one day I will be ready for a child.

I’m so sorry to hear about that! That must be extremely uncomfortable and I definitely thing you used the right word describing it as harassment. It can even make you doubt your own feelings which is very uncomfortable.. my only advice is that if there’s some tiny though of kids in your mind deep down to just go and freeze your eggs if it’s accessible to you. Tell no one who’s usually nagging you tho… anyways, again I’m sorry to hear about all of this! I wish you two the best 💚💚💚

If your partner doesn't want to live in your country you can't move on with the relationship as I did. After watching the video I realized that I made the right decision by breaking up with him because he didn't respect my country, my nationality. I've watched you for awhile now and as a Swedish person living in Korea for the past few years and in a long term relationship I feel like I've related the most to yours. Of course I know we are only seeing bits and pieces of your lives, but I often feel that my relationships gets treated as wow you're foreign and he's Korean from some people when that's not why we started dating each other or what attracted us to each other either. And always when I watch your vlogs with your husband it feels very much just this is your husband, yes you have struggles as an international couple ofc, but also it's just a very happy and loving real relationship between two people who love each other.

Having a child brings the whole date situation to non existant other than your child sleeps early and you aren't too exhausted from the day then you maybe have a drink and talk. But other than that. Everything needs to be planned out according to the childs needs. Especially, who takes care of the child, do they know the needs of the child etc etc. And something I thought would be possible but totally isn't. You can't go on dates with your child. Having your child around is always stressful... Just so you know and are prepared before getting pregnant and a child. I wished someone told me beforehand 😅

It would really suck if I met someone from another country I really liked in my home country and entered into a relationship, only to find out that one of her dealbreakers is that we would have to live in her country sometime in the future, so kudos to Jake for his willingness. Personally, while I love visiting other countries. having to permanently relocate would be too overwhelming because I’m too used to the environment and way of life in my country. So uprooting all of that and having to virtually start over somewhere else is quite daunting, even if I really like that person. It really underscores the importance of bringing this up in the very early stages of dating.

This channel is about me, and probably will be changing into me as a mother, but it will never be a family channel. I also will be very selective with the moments I choose to share of the baby. oh really? Do the rules differ in the EU? I'm in Germany and it was no problem bringing in my non-EU husband

Korea's population is shrinking but you're going to Denmark and growing theirs? 🤪😜

our choices aren’t affected by that, why should it? There are many reasons why koreas population is shrinking, the most obvious being that the government has created an environment where people don’t want to raise kids in. So we will leave at some point 💚

@@kranked3363does not work for this situation. this country is not optimized for a fulfilling life for many people, that’s the governments fault not the peoples
I’m glad you had the kids topic, a lot of couples on you tube are sensitive about the subject either they are having fertility issues or some just don’t want kids which is sad. Thank you for opening up to us.

You guys are really lucky with your families being so caring & supportive. And since your only goal to come to korea was to develop a career it's lovely to see that it all came naturally. About feeling the pressure of having kids & being married to a foreign man: my first marriage was with a mexican and actually - it was the complete opposite. Nothing came/felt naturally. Weeks before getting married his family was already pressuring me/us with us having kids, saying things like: "on honeymoon you gotta give it your everything" etc. And it became worse, the expectations went through the roof after getting married. To be honest - I believe this pressure played a huge part in why our marriage failed. We both weren't ready to have kids & also he showed no interest whatsoever in moving to my home country. Not even for a few years. Mexico is a dangerous place. If we'd had kids I would have wanted to raise them in a safe country after all. Needless to say: it never happened. You are so blessed to have a husband at your side (+ his family) that does not shy back from the thought of you raising your kids abroad, even if that would mean sacrificing precious time in which they (his parents) wouldn't be able to see them (your kids), because travelling back & forth isn't always possible. I'm looking forward to see you guys taking your future steps together. I feel so grateful to you & your vlogs, they do provide some sort of inner peace to me every time I get to watch them 😘
