Martin Luther set off the Protestant Reformation in the early sixteenth centuries with his objections to abuses and theological errors of the Roman Catholic Church. His collected works in German fill 100 volumes and he is recognized by friends and opponents as one of the most influential figures in Western cultural history.
This lecture was originally an adult Sunday School class at Rincon Mountain Presbyterian Church in Tucson, Arizona by Benjamin C. Richards in 2010-2011 as part of a series entitled "Twelve Theologians Every Christian Should Know".
