Praying for you Nikki. I was diagnosed about 10 years ago with fibromyalgia. When the symptoms started to show up in my life, I became very depressed and had lots of anxiety. The anxiety made the pain worsen. My life was completely upside down. I went on a health journey and spiritual journey. As I seeked to discover who God is by reading the Bible. I found Jesus! I was born again. It's been a slow journey for me. But I'm thankful because the pain brought me to saving grace. I don't have much pain anymore. You stated "God is in control!" And that is so true. I find so much peace and even joy during seasons of pain and discomfort. Thank you for being an encouragement to us Nikki! God bless you! 2 Corinthians 4:16 So we aren’t depressed. But even if our bodies are breaking down on the outside, the person that we are on the inside is being renewed every day.❤

Almost everything you are saying sounds like me. I have long suspected that I have fibromyalgia but have not been diagnosed officially. I have chronic pain due to knee and back issues along with arthritis, so that is what I have been working on. I struggle everyday to go to work but the Lord sees me through. Bless you for sharing and I love your positive energy. ❤

Yes, God is in control!! I join the other sisters-in-Christ here and am praying for you sweet sister!! May the Lord heal you where you need healing, may the Lord hold your hand through this process, may the Lord carry you when it feels like you just can't take another step, and may you praise the Lord every step of the way keeping your eyes fixed on Him. Whether you are ailing or healthy the Lord is right there with you because everything He causes or allows to happen serves His purpose. I love your enthusiasm and positive attitude!!

Ms. Nicki, that was the theme in church or the Bible study like a week ago. We're all worried about the election. But no matter who wins, God in Control. Psalm 23.

Hi Nikki, I’m so sorry that you’re have to deal with all of the pain associated with arthritis and with fibro. It sucks. I’ve been dealing with my type of arthritis since I was 15. (I’m 65 now). It’s genetic so my wonderful dad had the same type of arthritis as I do plus rheumatoid, but all of his symptoms didn’t show up until he was in his 60s. My type of arthritis has also scarred all five lobes of my lungs too. In 2015, I was finally diagnosed with Fibro. It has gotten worse of the years to the point where I rarely leave the house. Anyway, all of this to say. Please take of yourself and listen to your body. That was the hardest lesson that I had to learn. If I push myself too much, I pay for it dearly. I also want to say how grateful I am that I can study the Bible and listen to/watch sermons online. They keep me going. Thank you for all that you do. God bless.

Bless your heart, sorry you are in pain. I will be 60 in 2 days and deal with back too. It is no fun 😥. Please be aware if you are taking Lyrica. My husband had problems with memory loss and confusion while taking it. He thought he was loosing his mind so I did some research and discovered it was the meds. He had to stop taking and went back to normal memory and thinking. My husband ended up having neck surgery finally and was able feel normal again (for a old man 😂) Hopefully, whatever you take will not affect you that way. I will put you on my prayer journal for healing 🙏

Praying for you Nicki. I am a new follower here on KZitem and your videos have helped me so much along with a few other Bibletubers. To give a little background to what I am going to say is, I know your pain, not personally but through my partner who has degenerative disk disease and many other friends and family that are going through your same diagnosis. I am a Medical Assistant student and a caregiver and the only thing I can say is keep going in your faith in God. Opioids and painkillers in general can be addicting so just watch out for any new prescriptions that you may get to treat pain. Always ask your doctor and do your research on medications. You are an inspiration to keep going deeper into my faith and God bless you for all that you do. I will be praying for you.

@@lufranco3211 well I don’t eat gluten or dairy because of food allergies. I also greatly limit processed foods and try to eat Whole Foods as much as possible. I’ve always “controlled” my fibro pain by avoiding trigger foods but whatever is happening now, it not responding to my normal triggers. What we eat truly matters!!!
