My body is defective. As a result I take organic compounds every day that aren't found in nature like eating popcorn. My body *doesn't* do what it's designed to do, so your generally-applicable parable is not a good baseline for me specifically.

Good day, Sir! I also want to add few points to your list as a russian army sergant. 1. Stick to your waking up and sleeping time like two fingers after glueing smth. You can't predict every type of activity if you're civilian, but you should control theese two main steps. 2. Don't be savage in trainings and let your body'n muscules to have a good rest. Stop thinking that if you will train for 6 times a day you'll earn better results. No! You'll earn only backpain at the age of 25. 3. Do your hobbies. Start drawing, playing the guitar or singing. You also can upgrade yourself in maths doing exercises. 4. Before every hard training eat fast carbs (of course not too much just a half of snickers bar). Theese fast carbs will be burnt out very fast, but you'll earn additional energy. 5. Change your food habbits. Stop buyng sweet chocolate, change it with dark chocolate about 70% of cacao. So you got the idea. 6. You need goals to achieve, that's why try yourself at long distance running competitions, go in for sports (my preferencies are martial arts) so you'll progress having a strait goal, not regular "I want to cut my weight and get abs" - it's not a goal. 7. Don't forget to be hydrated (I'm the marine corp sergant, so I should point it, lol)

9:41 Imma argue it is natural to drink cold beverages, because if you were to drink water in nature, colder water would be better as microorganisms can not reproduce in them as well. We are disgrusted by warm, standing and brown water for a reason, it's so full of microbes it is a major hazard for our health. Cool running water from mountain rivers is probably some of the best natural water out there.

Abdullah Syed well then either listen to them or get money together and move out but before that get a job, I think ur parents have th right idea they just seem to be going about it the wrong way or something because engineers are important to society and can make some really good money, but at the end of the day it’s ur life if you think ur parents are being full of shit then try and talk to them and maybe sort things out or get a job an move on with ur life, that’s just my suggestion because if being a engineer is not really ur passion or going to make you happy than fuck it there are a lot of other jobs that can help you make good money or better yet get ur own business rolling.

Getting enough sleep isn't enough, it needs to be quality sleep. Removing other distractions from the bedroom like phones, televisions etc can really help. Also, I find it helpful to have a sleep machine that has different noise settings (white noise, rain, waterfall, etc...) which helps drown out outside noise.

Although breakfast is important, a lot of people have it at the wrong time in their day. If you take in calories first thing in the morning, your body will go into storage mode. This is kind of the opposite of kicking off your metabolism. Counter to that, if you go for 10-15mins of cardio first thing in the morning before you eat, your body goes into burn mode. This DOES kick off your metabolism. You don't need to do a lot, just enough to set the tone for your body for the day. I'd be interested in seeing a study about that cold drinks thing. I imagine you'd have to drink a LOT of cold drinks very quickly for it to still be cold by the time it hits your stomach. That said, I never drink cold drinks anyway, so no biggie. Lastly, I'd avoid juices. Juice has it's sugars separated from fiber. When you eat fruit, the fiber slows down the rate a which you will be able to digest out the sugars and absorb them. Juices are just like sodas in that that sugar is immediately available to go into the blood stream all at once. When that happens, your blood sugar spikes and your body starts to treat it like a toxin which means it has to be processed out by the liver. This is the first step of diabetes. So fruit yes, juice no. Basically anything that has it's sugars processed out away from its fiber is a no. Smoothies are hit or miss, you're already starting to break down the fruit and separating its sugars out. But if you add protein to the smoothie (like peanut butter), that will slow down the digestion processes in the stomach as a whole. Milk isn't a big deal, except the amount of hormones and antibiotics that are fed to the cows. I don't miss milk, but when I want it or need it for cooking I buy organic.

If you are serious about losing weight and joining, these are great video's. Wish I had the INTERNET when i was your age. Start now. Run as much as you can. Learn Calisthenics. You can do those anywhere and you do not need a gym. Research the branch of service you want to join, and most importantly, what do you want to do. Remember this; recruiters are only there to get you to sign. Period. They have quotas, so they will sell you on anything to get you signed up. Hold out for what YOU want to be. i.e. infantry and airborne. Talk to as many vets as you can. They with give you the real picture. And above all else, (you will hate this) EXCELL in school, starting now. Be the top of your class in EVERY subject. Trust me, it will pay off. Best of Luck.

In addition to real food, you need to supplement also. Since about 1933, it has been known, and is in the Congressional Record, that the soil in which in which our crops are grown and which animals eat, is severely depleted of minerals due to crops not being rotated when planted. Same crop, over and over, planted in the same field. Vitamins and minerals are food. I learned this from my Nutritionist whose program I've been on almost 25 years. Dr. Carey Reams is the Founder who researched and developed this the program I'm on. Fyi, ex truck driver/furniture mover, 29 years of that. Moving pianos by myself, etc.

Most of your health tips are true, but there are a couple glaring mistakes in your advice. First, drinking cold beverages does NOT kill bacteria in your gut. The vast majority of bacteria survive temperatures below freezing, that's a biological fact (look it up). Not to mention, by the time the drink reaches your intestines, where the intestinal flora live, the liquid has been heated up to body temperature and thus will have no impact on the temperature of the bacteria there. In fact, drinking cold beverages can be beneficial to weight loss because your body requires energy to maintain its temperature despite the cold drinks. As long as the drink is healthy to begin with the temperature of the drink will not affect your gut health. Secondly, air that comes from an air conditioner is not "chemically processed and recirculated." No chemicals come into contact with air that comes through an air conditioner. Fresh air is taken in from outside, passed through an air filter, cooled over a heat exchanger (metal tubes filled with the cool refrigerant), and then passed into the desired room. The only problems with this process are dirty air filters and air that has been dehumidified from the air conditioner. Change your air filter regularly, and run a humidifier in your house if you feel the need. Going outside is good for your health in that you experience and appreciate nature, you are probably less sedentary, and you are probably more social, than sitting alone inside.
@cadenorris4009
3 жыл бұрын
I do think you need to be careful about drinking cold water or beverages, especially when you are sweating and very hot, because I have heard that the difference in temperature could actually shock your body, reducing its effectiveness as it tries to restore the temperature. I Could be wrong, but I think it is worth looking up.
