Wow! This is surprisingly interesting and thought-provoking! I just randomly found your channel after reading a post on Women of YT fb group and I'm instantly hooked! I love your content, editing, and positive energy. I definitely have heard of Marie Kondo and watched 1 or 2 of her Netflix series but I'm actually learning a lot more after watching just this video. Btw your home is so beautiful!! I was staring at your background the whole time haha.

Thank you so much for this comment! I am so glad you found me and got so much from the video. And thank you for the compliments about my home. My home now definitely sparks a lot more joy than it used to. 😂 If you're curious about my "before konmari" home, I shared some before photos in the "My KonMari Journey" video. 😬

Fantastic work! These five points are easy enough for anyone to get started with! I think I’ve really embraced point 1 and need to work on the rest, lol! Thanks for the great info!✌️

Thanks so much Emily! The first point is definitely the most important one and one I never considered prior to reading Marie's book. When I watched your video on the 3 tips for vlogging, your first tip reminded me of this - It's all about clarifying what you want to do before you do it!

Appreciating the unexpected lessons from things has been incredibly liberating for my decluttering journey. Letting go with gratitude instead of guilt has been a game-changer for me

I noticed that lesson #1 affects also how I am shopping. I am happy with items I have now but still some of them need to go as they only take space and that’s because I still have hard time letting go 😅

For some people, the decluttering process like an onion and they peel one layer off at a time. As you go through the KonMari journey, the moment you decide start, you are already changing and you will continue to change and evolve throughout this journey. Let go of what you're ready to now and as you go through the process, you might be ready to let go of more items later on.
