A triple amputee, who was labeled a burden, a liability after meeting with an electrocution accident at the age of 9 and the subsequent loss of both his legs and an arm, Tinkesh Kaushik is today inspiration personified! As he talks about his journey, he shatters all the myths around limiting one's potential because of their circumstances. From being totally dependent on others, to carving his niche as a fitness trainer, he has come a very long way, with his wits and will strongly by his side. Today, he is the first one to say yes to any adventure, from white water rafting and bungee jumping to scuba diving in open waters, because he rightly believes and proves that your mind is the strongest organ in your body. Tinkesh Kaushik is the first Asian Triple Amputee to bungee jump and Scuba dive in open waters. A determined and resolute fitness enthusiast, he has trained to be an athlete, swimmer, paracyclist and marathoner, and now inspires others on their fitness journey through his wellness and life coaching. He believes that the mind is the strongest organ in the body. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
