1.) No idea how this is a hack, but I'd say it could likely be avoided by drilling more appropriately sized counter-sinks haha 2.) What? WHAT? 3.) If you've already got a vacuum handy to clean up your work, why are we taking the extra steps to waste unrelated material that will obscure the accuracy of the hole drilling? Just vacuum ONCE after your work is done. Besides, you could be asking for trouble by pulling at loose insulation. 4.) Having a drill bed isn't much of a "hack", but it's the only practical thing in this video that isn't some convoluted way to waste resources without appreciable benefit to the job at hand.

I'd assume you'd want to know where the screws are in case you need to take the furniture apart if you need to transport it. How else do people transport around their bed frames if you couldn't take it apart as most if not all door frames can't fit your bed frame through it in one piece

Wearing gloves while drilling is a great life hack to lose your finger 👍

I disagree. I have saved my hand a few times with grade 3 cut resistant gloves while punching out electrical panel. The pilot bit just winded up the glove and I was fine. But im not suprised most people don't use gloves that will actually save you from power tools so I see where you're coming from
The magnet in the glove was actually pretty stupid, each time he grabbed the screw he had to put down the drill and grab the screw with the right hand and put the screw into the left hand and then grab the drill and then put the screw into the drill. Makes way more sense to tape the magnet around the top of the drill have the screws so the left-hand can quickly just shift forward to the tip of the drill

He should put the latex glove on the other hand leaving one hand free so he doesn't have to shuffle the drill hand to hand. Jus sayin.
