I was so naive, didnt know anything about gangs a decade ago, and I ended up marrying a white numbers gang member, the worst worst nightmare experience of my life, I'm still picking up pieces a decade later. His family is well to do, they tried everything to help him, I did the same, almost killed me in the process, but he ended up always letting us down by stealing and wasting all efforts we made to help him. I agree some people will need a helping hand and they will change,BUT the person must want to change. If not itl never work. Only Jesus brings freedom. Only Jesus can set all captives free and give a life beyond death.

It’s good to see this gentleman still has a firm grip on reality, but I’m not sure I share his view on being compassionate towards criminals/gangsters. Why must I, a person who made the conscious decision to lead a life of honesty and hard work expect anything good and prosperous from someone who made a choice therein to be a criminal. Yes, not everyone has opportunities, but to take the easy route when you could just well be proactive and be a functioning member of society you chose the exact opposite. Having compassion towards fellow gangsters doesn’t nullify all your backwardness

@@mrmiagi5898 Jesus dying for our sins was not fair. But He did it knowing that there was a chance you and I would reject Him. The reason God easily forgives people is because as much as they have hurt people, they too were also hurt in life. What the devil wants is a cycle of perpetual hurt with no one forgiving. True justice has been served by God who has doomed satan for the lake of fire, because satan has used people to hurt each other blindly. You and I have a chance to be redeemed by Christ.
