Oh wow, Gakuen Alice! How nostalgic. I didn't think it was popular enough to get a themed café so much later, though I'm happy for all the die-hard fans lol. I can understand them going crazy with their money spending for it because if one of my niche favourites got a bunch of merchandise all of a sudden, I'd go nuts too. It hits different to get a chance to buy merch for something that's so under the radar that there's usually no merch at all.

Great vlog 👍🏻 It seems like you did a lot of fun stuff this week. Especially the little karaoke intermission was great and when you sang cruel angle‘s thesis I was done. You’re so good at it. I have an anime playlist on my phone singing along when driving my car 😅 I’m not nearly as good as you, that’s why I’m only doing it in my car when I’m alone. But it’s so much fun 🤩 I love it! So cheer’s to anime music and crazy singing 😁

AH I love LEDs and nanoleaf is supposed to be pretty good! If you got the light strips, their adhesive is hella strong BUT if you need to remove them at any time, I use goo gon (idk if they sell that in Japan) but that usually does the trick for me. I’m a streamer so of course LEDs were a job requirement (jk lmao). Good video overall!! 🎉 hope the weather is cooling down for y’all over in Japan!!

Hi Allison, just discovered your channel and am enjoying getting re-acquainted with Tokyo because everything changes but somethings remarkably do not change. Noticed the likely Sri Lankan or Thai Buddhist monk at 4:11 shopping in Akihabara (where else?) and had to laugh, as I am a Buddhist priest with a shaved head wearing robes and of course remember sometimes getting royally stared at times when I went to "normal" places. Good luck with your thesis!

I have the Nespresso Essence Mini that I've been using for probably 4 years now. I've have been interested in the Lattisima in white. However after looking at several reviews, the lattissima's milk frother seems to spit out the milk and either leave a mess outside or inside the cup. For the Nanoleaf, why not go both? I have a lighter and it's great, but I'm not against the wall. But if you are against the wall, maybe you can pull out your desk by 1cm and stick on the back of the desk creating 2 zones of ambient or accent lighting.

As a way older gentlemen still somewhat into Anime (Love the original Space Battleship Yamato and saw it in the U.S. as 'Starblazers' back in 1978 at the age of 15 -- Oh, and LOVE the 'modern' redo of it - which still is continuing - they did with Space Battleship Yamato 2199 and SBY 2201 et. al.) -- given your age, I was surprised to see you karaoke-ing the original Neon Genesis Evangelion theme song, as you were probably born around the time that Anime first released...😮 (and yeah, when I was about your age I too thought there was a difference between 21 and 25 -- but looking back given my age now, yeah, honestly not so much.😉 Don't stress so much about these years as believe me, you're still young. (And yeah, when I hit 30 I thought: "Yeah, now I'm old...and untrustworty..."🥴 (and I didn't get while many of the older people I knew and worked with chuckled when I mentioned that back then; much like I do now as you lament a bit about being what? 26?) At the age I am now, I WISH I felt (physically) like I did when I was 30. If you're lucky, you have a lot of life left to experience/enjoy.
