In this video from our archive, we follow the continuing story of Miles Folsom and Colt Lundy. Miles was sentenced to 36 years in prison at age 16 for robbery and criminal confinement. Colt was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the shooting death of his stepdad. Both boys met in prison as teenagers and became the brothers each never had.
In this video, we look back at the time when Colt and Miles had just transferred from the Youth cellblock in a maximum-security adult prison to the full adult prison population with 3,000 other adult inmates. Colt and Miles were placed in the PLUS cell block, a unit that was known for good behavior and featured a quilting program where prisoners made quilts that were donated to the public.
During their time inside, Calamari Productions Founder/Executive Producer Karen Grau and New York Times Magazine journalist and award-winning author Scott Anderson visited Miles and Colt in their new adult cell block and interviewed the boys about life growing up inside.
