Never try to justify what you are doing (unless it is buying a really expensive prep item 🙂), it is your life and you can live it however you want. I would ditch the white board and just mark up the important things that you have to do or attend, that would be the first step to relaxing instead of always working to a schedule (or else it becomes like working a job with set times to do or achieve things. I know that when you are in training for the competition, then you need a stricter routine, but not when you are living a normal life. You are also still young so live life and enjoy it, there will be plenty of time when you are old to look back at wasted opportunity's, so the trick is to not waste any opportunity in the first place and as we don't get a second time around, it is another reason to live this one life to the full. PS, where's the sun ? 🌞🌞

Thanks Lee, I appreciate your comment. Haha I love/hate the whiteboard - you're right though, making it less structured would be helpful (though maybe a challenge for my scatterbrain!) I will try not to waste any opportunities and instead make the most of life like you suggest :) The sun made regular appearances, but probably for the best it was cloudy on and off as the temperature was quite comfortable!

@@StrivingforSelfSufficiency Good girl, but it requires more than trying, you have to treat each opportunity like that Bikini competition, you just have to go for it. If you fail, then you can at least say that you tried, which is way better than saying "if only I had..." The joys of being old is that you can pass on all of the things that you failed at and just hope that the next generation learn from you, but it's very rare that it happens 😞

Yes since LD1 I’ve retreated from the world I was living in and it’s internal politics which we’re crushing me. Sometimes I miss the camaraderie and making a difference, but life is calmer now. Shifting focus/direction and a change pace is perfectly natural and is just a part of the life’s journey. Enjoy your holiday.

Maybe doing the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage.I would go cycle touring to slow down and would hate the first few days as struggle justifying having an experience.

Amazing, I know people that have done it and loved it. Cycle touring is cool - great to have experiences to look back on :) Fair play

Hi 👋 from the North East 😀. Don't worry about the climate crisis stopping you flying to your holiday. The climate hoax shouldn't stop you from de-stressing . Hope you have had a great time. God bless and good for you 👍
