Poor Johnny. You could just sense it in his voice, he was like 1 second away from having a full blown panic attack. Glad you were there to help him through it. When you have a really bad day and really bad things begin to happen, everything about everything begins taking on a different vibe. So easy to have a meltdown. Mine was over being stuck in the sand going up the hill on elephant hill on obstacle that was super easy. It is hot... and things dont go your way... and you are out there all lonesome and while i know you are not supposed to wheel alone but you know.... we all do it... under stress things happen. Mike to the rescue.

Fun Video. It would be helpful if you would mention the area it was filmed. I see in your Bio your affiliated with Trail Mater, but I hod to dig around to see that. I assume it's near Moab, but the terrain looks quite different, and could be many places ( eastern Cali comes to mind) Just keep that in mind for us randos that drop in. And yes I've done similar rescues back in my days of 4 wheeling. Cheers!

Good morning Mike I give you credit you definitely like living life on the literal edge. That was an interesting recovery. The odd part is it makes a lot of the TrailMater recoveries seem not as much fun since there is no risk involved. No disrespect to Rory or Shawn. In my opinion when danger and risk is involved it makes it more challenging

I love Taylor (I think that was her name) gets handed the camera out of the blue, and proceeds to do a stand out job. I can think of a few major channels that could learn a thing or two from the way she filmed this recovery. She had good angles and covered the action, but by far the most important thing is 'she was smooth'. None of the hose-piping we see so much of on Cleetus McFarland's channel. Top job Tylor. When are you starting your own channel?

First time watching this channel. I guess it is Mike nice rescue. Definitely knows what he is doing and super nice truck. The other Gentlemen needs to greatly improve his offroading skills and take another skilled offroader in another vehicle with him before he ever tries a trail like this again. You could tell he was terrified of the situation he got himself in and that it was his lack of ability that put him in that position. With no roll cage that tumble would have turned out bad for you both. Especially without anyone knowing you two were out there. Be safe out there.
