I am a Japanese first grade junior high school student. I always have you see nice pictures. I longed for Yuumei and began to learn painting. My dream now is an illustrator. I still do not understand English at all, but I would be happy if I could read it properly by Mr. Yuumei. Please keep doing a good job! Really Yuumei's picture is healing! I love it! I support you! !

I just found Yuumei on DeviantArt an hour ago and it only took me a second to see how interesting looking her art style is. This video is a beautiful way to show how to let your creative mind fly and iterate if you have honed the proper skills. Great work Yuumei and for anyone reading this: If you are inspired by this take the jump, take the risk, bust your bottom practicing, try and fail and then try again. A world as amazing as this could be awaiting to be revealed inside you. Thanks Yuumei for your hard work and best of wishes to you and all creative and amazing bastards out there.

i'm so excited about these regular videos!! this one was really great - i loved the way you transformed it so much and gave it so much character at the end just by warping the background. I especially like the parts where you talk about the thought process behind the things you try out in the image, and the way you choose the composition. Hearing you explain it makes everything sound really straightforward, but I know if I actually pick up a pen there's a lot to learn to get the intuition that you have.

Amazing. Thank you Yummei for sharing this with us. Your pieces are mesmerizing, powerful. They are all so compelling for me. This one in particular. Something so whimsical and beautiful and like you said, surreal. A simple but distinct allegory. Your steps are clear and the music is soothing (even if it can be a bit loud at times). Your voice over videos so far are very clear and you are a good teacher. I love watching them. These images and videos are quite honestly healing. I know maybe a few years ago a more bitter me would have merely gotten upset at how good you were, but for now, this is very motivating. It makes me want to become better, to make others feel the way I feel when I stare at this stunning artwork. This image actually makes me tear up (though I am a very sensitive person). It hits, it hits close with its gorgeous lighting and hopeful (or that's what I get from it) message. It hits home with its beautiful depiction of serenity. Your art is something special. I am very glad your hand is improving (not just for the people who want to see your art but because you seem to genuinely love art and love doing it). It appears many other people think the same way. Thank you so much. For everything you do for you, for us, and for the world

The technique of using 3D models to jumpstart the creative process is so interesting. I'm really tempted to try out the techniques shown in this video for myself, seeing as I struggle with artblock and time management when it comes to completing detailed art pieces. Thanks for such a great tutorial!

You'll always be my favorite artist & teacher. I learned so much from you and my style has changed alot over these past few years from watching your tutorial and analyzing your artworks. I've always been a big fan of beautiful illustrations that has a really amazing background and semi-realistic style (and I'm also a big fan of Tsugumi Ohba"s artstyle!). I'm kind of stuck right now because I have to draw a flower field/ meadow for my commission's background, and struggling to find out how to draw it beautifully, and the first thing I did was going to your youtube channel and watch your tutorial again. Thank you so much for being so awesome by sharing your drawing technique and advice, especially for still-growing artist like me! ♥♥

Hey Yuumei i love your comic Fisheye Placebo and I am always astonished of the pictures and the unique artstyle you've got. One day I want to create my own story just like you. Yuumei do you have any interest in collaborating with music producers in the future?
@CatherineLu
6 жыл бұрын
There are ways to keep the voice separate without just decreasing the sound for all of the music. The voice basically lives in the 500-2000 Hz range, vowels being in the low part of that range and consonants in the higher part, so if you go into the music track's EQ, you can kind of 'scoop' the audio at the 500 and 2000 marks to help bring out the important parts of the voice a little more. (You could also just set the music audio to dip for the entire 500-2000 Hz range to really bring out the voice, but depending on the music it might affect how nice the music sounds.) Hope this helps!
