I'm as an Ukrainian artist can relate so much with you. This war kick me so hard from creativity and productivity, it's very complicated to keep painting. And it's really coming back slower, to create illustrations and produce decent work. So, it's normal to feel unmotivated after life-shaking situations

Your comment is motivating. This is my first time seeing this channel and before watching the news I for some reason decided to start reading the comments and am surprised to see the out pouring of prayers. This is like the best community out there and why I am subscribing. I don't know the bad news but I know with powerful prayers and motivation like this I am even motivated and I'm bedridden last 7 years in a family that don't believe it's a war or shortage so they haven't prepared for anything but yet ask me for things as simple as batteries when the lights went out weeks ago. I'm the one should be asking them but if I thought like that I would be dead like them. The walking dead. We can only pray, fear God, obtain from evil and learn to do well. So I'm already loving this community

Wow, that is jaw dropping news. I can't imagine how you must feel. I am so sorry you are going through this. I did look at your life as an example of what I wanted, but Jesus is the only one we should look up to as an example of how to live. You are still an inspiration. You showed people the possibilities of crowdfunding, and creator owned projects. Like Rocky said, "Nothing hits harder than life." You just have to keep getting up, "That's what winners do." Thank you for feeling comfortable enough to share this with us. I pray that God leads you in your choices, and you find peace.

Jason, it's good to hear you're weathering the storm. I had a similar experience, the one thing I have found that helped was surrounding yourself with family/friends who help pull you out of the storm and above the clouds to glimpse the sun again. Traveling for me was the best way away from the daily and sometimes lonely space. On the road, listening to some music I hadn't listened to for a minute and new stuff, I honestly rediscovered myself and I see that for you. Embrace the change, don't question it, questioning the why me, why this God is natural, but your growth through it will outshine the negative. When I was going through my divorce, same thing, lost, 2 small children, it seemed that every time I felt like I was moving along, another blow would push me down further. I get it, not easy but you are stronger than this moment. Tenth Avenue North, 'You Are More', really good stuff. Take care!

Jason you're still one of my favorite artists man. I'm going to talk to a group of kids next month and your career advice is smattered throughout the hr long talk. You've been a huge inspiration to me for many years. WEIRDLY I also got divorced in 2019 (December to be exact) and it was rough...kids, the whole 9 yards. Divorce is sad and incredible. No matter why it happens. In the aftermath you might have days of relief that you're out of whatever situation and onto something you have more control over, maybe that you're happier. But you will ALWAYS be sad for the 20 something versions of yourself and your ex. That's absolutely okay and normal man. Just sit in that space when it rolls in. Be grateful for your past and get on with your future. I'm excited for more work from you. Don't rush it.
