Thank you very much for this review, as well as the footage of you standing up and sitting down. Incredibly helpful. I've been researching so much to find the right kayak for what I want to do and you've helped me make the decision to give this kayak a shot. Thanks!

Looks great. I'm 6'3 250 and fish out of two Pelicans. A Bounty 100 (sit in) and a Challenger 100 (sit on). This looks perfect for my size and budget. Liked and subscribed.

Thanks for the support of the channel. This is really a stable kayak even for big size people. The cost is what makes it unbeatable in my opinion.

Thanks for the video. I believe this is the kayak I'm going to choose. Only thing I can see that I don't like is the angle of the rod holders behind the seat. Wish they angled more towards the back rather than off to the sides.
@334tacticaloutdoors

Yes they do point out to the sides. I added additional rod holders to the tracks and also on my fish create.

Thank you for the review! I have a question though any idea on how to make the hull stronger? I would really like the baby this thing
@334tacticaloutdoors
2 жыл бұрын
There’s really not a way to make it stronger, next month will be one year I’ve had this lifetime Yukon and as long as you take care of it and not run it up on rocks and go slow when your around stumps you will not have any issues at all.
@phillipallan2863

Spray foam in hull makes it stronger but heavier but unsinkable but a pain in but if you ever need to change any wires you can also fiberglass/epoxy bottom half & add silicon runners. Hope 1 or all of these ideas help you.

Did your kayak come with the scupper plugs? Or did you buy those after the fact?
@334tacticaloutdoors

I bought them. The orange ones came from Dicks sporting goods, and the green ones came from Walmart.

I prefer using the scupper plugs just in case u get a lot of water on the deck you can pull the plug out.

Go to Walmart and for $6 you get a bag of 8 foam practice golf balls. They are a perfect press fit. Drill a hole through them and run a cord through then tie a knot so you can pull them back out when you want.
