In this tech vid Pete explains a technique that may come in handy when your lowrider, or car fitted with hydraulic suspension, won’t lift.
Taking his own circumstances into account (he’s bought a lowrider with no batteries), Pete needed to get a Lincoln Towncar up off the ground so it could be moved and loaded onto a trailer. You might find yourself in a similar situation, a car fitted with hydraulics is sat too low to move but when you hit the switch the car won’t ’go up’.
Please be careful when using this technique, you will get sparks and those sparks can start a fire, so keep anything flammable or combustible away from the area!
As explained at the end of the vid, this will only work if the pump or pumps you have fitted are in working order and there’s no significant leaks in the system. This technique is only designed to bypass any faults in the electrical system, and an operational motor is fitted to the pump/pumps.
Thank you for watching!
