"I can't keep plants alive so I kill them and frame them" 🤣Thought I was the only one. Great ideas. Thanks 🙏

Oh my gosh.... you are a sight for sore eyes. I couldn't believe when I saw the notification that you had a new video. Finally something good in 2022!! Congratulations on the new house and the move. I was so worried your absence was for sad reasons. Cannot wait to see your upcoming videos. Welcome back. You have been missed!!

So good to see you back! It's really tough to choose the favourite project, but I think I'll go with the collage of plants and bookpages, I have something like this in my room, it looks so pretty and I treasure it because it used to belong to my mother when she lived here. I always wondered why there were globes in my middle school classroom if we only used them once throughout our study, but now I know the answer - for the aesthetic! You can also use it as a hidden storage space if it splits in half along the equator as many cheap plastic globes do. I wonder what you do with the finished projects - do you throw them out, gift them, or is your house filled to the brim with mismatched aesthetic tokens (which is a whole vibe imho)?

So nice how decor can bring back memories 💜 The split storage globe is a great idea! As for the aftermath or my projects, it’s a combination! For a few projects I’m not too happy with, I try to recycle the pieces into new projects (or throw them out if I can’t). Most projects I either keep or gift. Each room in my home has a different aesthetic, and I’ll be sharing more about that in the future!

I would do some version of all of these - thanks for the ideas. I also really appreciated seeing a light academia video by someone of color who is older than 20! Please do more light academia.

Sadako was sadly not able to finish the 1000 paper cranes before she died. Her class mates finished the remaining cranes for her and she was buried with the cranes. Sadako was a young lady who loved to run. Her wish, had she been able to finish her cranes, would have been to be able to run again. She died of leukemia at age 12. In Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park there is a statue of Sadako holding a golden crane. If you ever get the chance please go to see her. As well as the Peace Memorial Museum in Hiroshima.
