I just wonder how the model kept standing there in the same position within 60secs without moving, as he gets moved he gets blurred, I can see the subject is sharp in your final photo, how did you do that though? Thanks
@LightPaintingPhotography
Жыл бұрын
The model can move around a little bit, because this is a silhouette it really doesn't matter that much. If I were to illuminate the model then the main thing is that I only illuminate them one single time. Check out this tutorial it might be helpful: kzitem.info/news/bejne/ko18uoSCcKV4ao4

Jason, it was really cool I am going to try this. My only question is how do you hold the light or fiber optic that it does not illuminate your own hand. Is there any specific tip to hold the light. ? ? And yes Happy New Year. 🙂
@LightPaintingPhotography
Жыл бұрын
Using the Universal Connector it directs the light into the Fiber Optic, There really isn't any light spill to worry about, especially with the black Fiber Optic. You can get a little bit with the White Fiber Optic but I have never had a problem showing my hand in the image.

Great tutorial, so many plans with this info in mind. Was wondering if you could get more specific with the placement (arrangement) of the gels in your DIY filter. I get the concept but yours achieved such great results I want to make sure I can replicate this. Close up photos maybe go the gels in the DIY filter? Thanks!

There is no particular way that I arrange the gels. Each DIY version of the filter I make is unique and to me that is part of the magic of Light Painting! I am confident that if you give it a go you will get some awesome results!

It seems impossible to do it with mirrorless camera. it capture just some small bits of my lightpainting. Im using " Bulbmode , f8 and iso 100. Do you have any experience with mirrorless camera?.

@@LightPaintingPhotography that looks like almost the perfect flashlight by having the mode selection and power as two separate switches. How has it been holding up so far?
