I have a vivid memory of my friend sending this to me online, I was probably 16 at the time, I had absolutely no clue what was going on. Fast forward to 2021, my friend is no longer with us and P1 feels like my musical home.

2023 and still returning to this particular version. IMO it's the best song from Periphery, the sound, the raw production, it's truly awesome!

Special place in my heart for this version. Music speaks for itself so wonderfully. And I like the live demo sound, it doesn't always have to be studio polished for me to appreciate it.

Exactly, this has more soul than the official album version. It's my favorite song from Periphery, this particular track and version.

Haha, I knew it: Every metalband is going to use some Meshuggah elements, they're just THAT influential. Just like after Metallica everyone sounded like them, now it's the Meshuggah Era! Hooray!

is that Travis Orbin? Did he play this drum part? I wasn't sure if he left the band before they made this song . . . anyone know for sure?
