Miriam, I am on Holiday at the sea and now could listen to your wonderful interpretation of my Lighthouse Beams. Do beautiful how the beams are running over the water in your Glissandi and I love your Klabautermann Dance! Thank you so much for sharing my music. ♥️♥️♥️♥️⛴️⛴️⛴️ 🌊 🌊🌊

I like that she plays chords and has rounded notes.

I love that term - "rounded notes". I am not sure if I am interpreting what you meant correctly, but that is the perfect way I would describe her sound. Each note is full and complete.

@@TheDubbert It's kind of difficult to explain. There's a way of striking piano keys so that the notes are more rounded. I've never played a harp, but I think I could manage the same effect on one. It's a matter of WANTING the rounded notes. A lot of people use fingering that results in a staccato style because they want to stand out, to be noticed. I started listening to harp music recently because I wanted something that might calm my nerves, remembering how harps have sounded to me in the past. What I have found out is that most performers try to stand out, and so they seem to get real pluckish with the harp strings. Also, they seldom 'sweep' the strings in order to produce chords. This young lady is sweeping the strings and backing off the finger pressure on each note.

Woah! That is so kind of you to notice and point out. I do prefer a full rich sound with my harp. I’m so happy you enjoy my music 🎵
@panatypical absolutely ❤️ I upload a new video every Wednesday.

You had comments turned off for "She Moved through the Fair," so I'll have to do it here. I have a version of that song with a vocal. I'm thinking it's better adapted to harp. Did you play it in G Major?
