An old video showing how to light a Coleman No. 2 Camp Stove and Oven from the 1920s. Sorry about the shaking, I shot this video about 4 years ago using my cell phone.
Wow! Great job showing how to light it and explaining!!!!!!!! I have one and did not know how to use it!!! I can use mine now!

Oh my! I can’t explain, but this makes my heart happy. Shortest version I can give is, an old lady gave my dad, I wanted, dad gave it to friend, friend died, his son inherited, my dad realized how much I loved the stove, actually got the stove back from friends son and just gave it to me. Early model number 2 with oven, rack, deflector, all the parts. I love getting these old Coleman appliances running again, but I had no idea how they preheated and all that stuff. Love this video. Now I know. ❤

Fun fact back in the twenties a lot of people used these as home stoves in more rural areas.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Really like the vintage stoves, but also glad for the newer simplier designs. Things made nowadays definitely wouldn't last 100 years. Keep up the good work with your videos.

A beautiful camp stove! I found out the hard way about the stove key and the auxiliary burner lever on my model 9. Not vent nut hot but close enough 😆

Hello how are you doing I had a question for you about this Coleman stove... I'm looking to get a number 2c Coleman 2-Burner stove and was just wondering if you knew what the big difference between yours and the 2c is?

Van Life - Less Stuff, More Freedom sorry I don’t know much about them. It has something to do with the auxiliary burner and the way you control the flame. Terry Marsh’s site has a little info about them but not much. terry-marsh.com/coleman-us-stoves-until-early-30s/
