Same thoughts haha where I live, a cámera like that is used only for big budget feature films or the biggest comercials. Nothing else, it's impossible to rent for lower stuff than that since there's only like 2 of them.

He's saying low budget in the sense agency isn't forking out a ton on rentals, most of the camera dpt gear is his. If you've watched him for any length of time you know he owns some Illuminas and the 35 so yeah he's making $$ on his day rate and kit but agency is saving money hiring him with all of it.

Your "small" budget ad look a lot bigger than the "big" budget ads I get to work on hahaha. It's cool, it give room to dream! And, in the end, the techniques are the same where we get to shoot on an Arri 35 with anamorphic in a desert across the country or on an URSA with spherical in a field next to our home. Great video as always!

In Canada I have to think hard about what I call things since we interchange American, Canadian, and in my case, British slang terms all day. Our garden fences are 20 meters long and 5 feet high and that makes total sense to everyone. We buy gas in litres and get X miles per gallon. Again, totally comprehensible. One time I hitched a ride to my home in Toronto and the driver got around to asking me where I was from. Minutes later he's calling me out as to where I'm really from because he heard me call his car's windshield a "windscreen." Presently I think of "thong" as the slingshot shaped undergarment; "thongs" might be that or the footwear; flip flops are footwear. My video take aways: Umbrellas and lazy suzan bearings. +1.

Hello, thank you for your video. I would appreciate hearing your recommendation. I'm considering upgrading from my Sony a6400 to a full-frame camera, and I'm facing a dilemma: whether to spend more and get the FX3 or save money and go for the ZV-E1, getting pretty much the same image but with the remaining funds invested in more lenses, etc? I shoot a variety of content, from events to weddings, so my direction is quite diverse. I really want to upgrade and start to make more professional videos, but I’m kinda stuck between these two and don’t know what to choose.
