sweet tips! hopefully my renders improve ^___^ small piece of feedback, if you overlay the camera on you as a small frame at the bottom corner of the screen, we can see you the whole time :) I got a little dizzy with the video switching back and forth between you and C4D

Well to be honest your protagonist looks vilain, because you don't put hard shadows on the face of the hero. In general you put shadows on a face if you want to make the character mysterious, angry, dangerous etc... but clearly not friendly. Your vilain is alright tho, with the classic light from below :) Anyway still an interesting tutorial for beginners, keep it up man :)

Thanks man! You're probably right, I think heroes are generally evenly lit. Maybe we can call it an anti hero? Frank Castle type ;)

Can you share how you find inspiration and ideas for your projects ? Ive been struggling recently to come up with ideas for renders and its really shitty

Generally If I'm struggling I sit on behance till something plants a seed in my head. But I'd recommend the book The War Of Art by Steven Pressfield. He talks about something called the muse (creativity) and I think understanding that sometimes it just wont come no matter how much you try to call on it allows you to relax and just wait till it's appears. Otherwise it's just painful and forced, maybe take the time to follow some tutorials and learn and flush out developing skills like modelling or animations until your creativity spikes again :)
