I was listening to a dead song with a similar sound when I clicked on the video and I thought there was a glitch, that it somehow jumped to a recommended track and kept feeding audio or something, then I was like oh its his intro.

Did you ever install the ARB compressor ?
@KeithBickford
2 жыл бұрын
Thanks. A few ideas. If you ditch the Jeep mounting back, it might fit into that slot you thought about mounting it in. You can use an add a circuit in the fuse box on an accessory circuit so that it comes on once you turn on the accessory position. That would work for me anyway. Once I saw this, I ordered the kit.

What is the benefit of installing a light bar on the bumper rather than in the hood bulge?
@KrokemOutdoors

Clearer view of the forest roads at night
@SColmant

@@KrokemOutdoors So you are implying that a light bar in the hood bulge would do less to illuminate the immediate area than one in the bumper?
@KrokemOutdoors
3 жыл бұрын
@@SColmant depends on the light on the hood bulge and the light on the bumper , as well as the type of lighting configuration on the bar (spot, flood, drive, combo), But From the limited examples I’ve seen, the bumper light seems to be a better placement.

Looking good. You really do need to resize those fuses tho to meet your needs not just use the ones that came with the kit. Think about putting a voltage sensing really on the yellow wire as well so it won’t let you switch anything on if your battery is to low. I like that tho, it would be perfect for what I need on my amarok, work light remote switch. That would be do useful tho, turning a light on remotely so you can see the rungs on the ladder to get into the tent. Panic siren if bears are in camp. Take care and stay safe.

I dig that light bar. I'm still warming to the ditch lights, though. That trigger system is the sweetness. MAN that is slick. To mount it (I'd put it up on the dash/radio area, personally), I would try a couple of those 3M Commander strips, so you can move it if you don't like that spot and it won't leave holes behind. That little spot on the console looks like the perfect size for a Trayvax wallet or something. 😏

Grumpy Grunt the ditch lights will come in back this winter and also on some desert drives 😉. That was exactly what that space was used for once in a while, lol. The Trayvax contour is a perfect fit there as well 🤣
